I am just curious. I changed the module in my Polaris for more hp and to take the governor off. It would not run without the module and nothing else would work on it. Does it hurt to ask a simple question?

So what modules does the Superduty take that are missing because of chips. I assume since they are able to run and be moved they must have to do with with Sync 3 ? I have looked all over and not just on this site and the answer alludes me. Nobody says why the trucks are setting other than CHIPS. What are the chips running on the trucks ?

Its depressing. My 21 F350 Lariat was built May 13th and setting. Asked Dealer if I could get a 22 they said no because it was built waiting on chips.

Mine is built F350 Lariat and awaiting chips. It was built May 13th. I went past a local dealer and seen 2 new F250s they just received Friday. Just wondering if they will chip the ones that are all ready sold before doing dealer stock. I have had Chevys since I could drive and thought I would try a Ford this time around. Not sure if the communication channels are open between Corporate and Dealers. My Dealer has answered my questions to the best of their ability but says Corporate is lacking on answers.

Would I be wrong to ask the Dealership for a 2022 instead of the 2021 F350 Lariat that is built and setting ? I have canceled two upcoming trips this summer and late summer 4 wheeling pulling a toy hauler because no one knows anything about delivery time. Or ask for more of a discount ???

When is the KTP having downtime again for 22 upgrade

Not an issue with who ever puts it in the truck. The issue is the chip. Will it be produced so fast to replenish the demand there will be no quality assurance ? Why if the Dealers are going to put them in, the trucks that are sold are not shipped to the Dealer instead of setting ?

Guess i will surely get the extended warranty then !

If your ordered Super Duty is setting at the Speedway can anyone tell me how ford is installing the chips ? Are they doing it at the speedway or taking them back to the factory ? I was reading the speedway is an hour away when i get the truck I don't want mileage on it .

I wonder if My Dealer would change them if they are Goodyear. I used to work for them in a different division other than their rubber division and get tires 30 percent off retail. I had 3 sets of Eagle ST that blew the sidewalls out on Z28. I have never ran anything Goodyear after that and never will. I also will not run their sub divisions.

I ordered mine first week in March and received my vin from the dealer after a week. Tracking the vin the truck was to go to production in April but did not go in until May 13th and dealer to receive the truck June 2nd. On May 13th truck went into production and hasn't moved. I called the dealer and asked for them to track it to see where in the production it was since the plant was down 2 weeks. Dealer told me truck was built on the 13th of May and setting and should receive chips May 27th to June 2nd then be released for shipping. Truck has dealer receiving it on June 2nd. but that's not going to happen. I checked the carrier site and it is listed as pending . I have also lost all the window stickers. I did print them out each week with the date changes at the bottom. The last one I had, had the Dealer name and address on it that none of the others had, but when I printed it out the Dealer name was not on the print out and I could not find that window sticker again. It had the date of 5/24/2021 on the bottom. F350 Lariat Diesel SRW 8 foot bed.

What Brand of tires is Ford putting on the 2021 F350 Lariat Diesel SRW. Goodyear or Michelins. I hope the answer isn't Goodyear.
