The dealer has been getting 1-2 vehicles per transport that shows up. They don't wait for a full load for 1 dealer, there are 5-6 dealerships within 30 miles of my house. The shipping companies are short staffed and back logged. It's just annoying though.
Truck got built 8/23 and shipped 9/5. It took until the 9/14 to get to STL. It has been sitting there ever since. I've had the delivery date pushed back twice now, first ETA was 9/6-9/12, then 9/11-9/17, and now it's showing 9/22-9/28. UGH...
I don't understand why some people feel the need to tell someone ELSE what they need or should buy. Options are great! A diesel and a supercharged 7.3 are NOT even remotely comparable, two totally different power curves. If you feel the need to put down someone else because of THEIR engine choice, then you are the problem, not their decision!
Mine was built 8/23 shipped 9/5 and has been sitting in STL since. The trackers said that it was supposed to be delivered by 9/11-9/17. The Mach-e tracker has just started counting back up(shows to be delivered in 4 days) from the 9/17 date.
Yeah, that's about right. Usually can add up to scheduled to the day in the past. But, even then they had to wait and see if Ford accepted the changes or rejected them.
Not sure where you are, but, my dealer has 3 450 cab chassis sitting on the lot. 1 xl, 1 xlt, and 1 lariat. From what I can tell, they aren't marking them up either. Hamilton Ford, Crane Missouri
6/21, received VIN and build week on 6/24. The build week ended up getting pushed back 2 weeks once because I added a couple of options. Supposed to be delivered 9/12 according to the trackers. Called the dealer to see what they're seeing and they said 9/6-9/12. Then the next day the ETA moved on the trackers to 9/17. Haven't checked back with the dealer.
