20022 F 450 Platinum ordered 4/28/21 So after finally receiving my window sticker on Sunday 9/11/22 and discovering none of my ordered options were on it, and my truck scheduled to be built the week of 9/22, I contacted the dealer on Monday 9/12/22. I was told the General Manager was not in but they would contact him. That Monday, I was assured the truck was ordered correctly. On Tuesday 9/13/22 still no answers and was told the reps were on a plain to Vegas for a conference. On Thursday the GM said they were trying to get the Snow plow prep, roof and FX4 added to the build. I asked about all the other options and was told if they get 1 they’ll be able to get them all. A glimmer of hope. Friday 9/16, my salesman and GM called me and I was told my truck would be built WITHOUT any of my options, not a single one. During that conversation my salesman and the GM send me window stickers for a Platinum and a Limited and told me they could get their hands on one of them for me from a good customer who has them on order. I was also told the trucks are to be built in November. My issue amongst many, but for these trucks, the prices are at the new pricing rates, about $4000 more than they were when I ordered. Looks like still have to fight to get my / a truck for the prices they were when I ordered. I think that is only fair, as none of this is my fault. Any thoughts?

If my options aren’t in this truck and it’s to late for them to correct it, I’ll absolutely be driving a 22 until they can get my order right on a 23. This process has been absolutely awful!!!!

I didn’t see that post, thank you for the update. Still super worried about the window sticker not showing any of my options!!!

Finally after almost 17 months and dropping AS, I got the “in production” notification on Friday. The window sticker didn’t show until this morning, however, how concerned should I be that it doesn’t show any of my options, NONE. Doesn’t show a BS $300 credit for the multi contour seat removal. I’m nervous that’s it’s wrong and it’s to late, it’s scheduled for the week of the September 12th. I’m hoping the window sticker is just wrong!!!!

I finally gave in. Ordered F450 Platinum on 4/28/21 After 16 months and much thought and agony, I decided to drop AS to give my truck a chance to get built. Dropped AS on 8/16 8/17 got 01 8/18 got VIN and build date None the less, I’m super excited!! Kind of ?

Keep calm and pray on? Talked to my dealer today and was told the only thing holding up my F450 Platinum is AS, which doesn’t make any sense as I’ve seen so many Lariat’s get build with it. He also told me that I’ll never get a 22, it’ll be pushed to a 23 and even then the AS will hold me up. I just don’t get. Told him I found 2 Limited’s being delivered in Dutchess County NY and 1 Platinum in NJ. He told me Limited’s come standard with AS, so I told him to move me to a Limited. 15 months and counting, I just don’t understand Ford’s thinking.

Wish I could pull the trigger on a Ram 1 ton limited!! Only 5 months out according to dealer! Price in obnoxious, just over $105,000

Wow, Ford is unbelievable, so many trucks unbuilt and they shut down for 2 weeks!!! With that 2 week shutdown I’ll be at 15 months on my F450 Platinum order !!!!!!!!!! Dealer says it has nothing to do with them and it’s all about Ford? Apparently Ford doesn’t care about fulfilling all the unbuilt orders out there.

May I ask when you ordered, what dealership and where that is? Just had it out with my dealer as I’m 14 months out as of the 28th of this month on my F450 Platinum. They told me I was priority 1-0, I asked if that was a 10, because I was a 2 and he said no a 1-0 is the highest level of priority. They told me they just aren’t building Higher level truck

While I never actually checked that, I had to provide my drivers license shortly after my order so my dealer could send it to Ford to prove it was a retail/COVP order and not for dealer stock.

Welcome to the one year + club! Not exactly a club anyone wants to be in. 13 months and counting on my F450 Platinum I spoke to the sales manager the other day and there is actually 1 truck 3 days older than mine, a F150 KR, which leads me to believe my dealer has an allocation issue with getting higher trim level trucks. Ford is really failing it’s customers by not reaching out to us and giving us answers.

I’ve been a 2 since August and I am at the top of the list. I’m the oldest unscheduled clean SD and vehicle they have.

I agree ?. 13 months and counting. I’m so fed up with my dealer and Ford it’s all a bunch ?. Enough is enough I’m convinced I’ll never get a truck this year and if by some miracle it does get built, it’ll be a Platinum “almost” with the MC seats being removed by Ford.
