  1. I called my sales manager last week and he was looking at the VVR while we talked. He gave me the rail car number and confirmed it was CSX. I called the CSX automated line, gave the car number on the prompt and it gave me the car location.
  2. Just spoke with sales manager and he confirmed VVR shows my truck is in South Carolina. Checked the CSX automated line using the rail car number and it is empty and back in Kentucky. So assuming the truck has been offloaded and is in a rail yard waiting on car hauler to bring the beast up to dealership. Hoping to be behind the wheel within a week.
  3. About a week - 10 days before scheduled build date. All other estimated dates have been on point. No AS but did order spray in bed liner. Hoping for delivery within a week.
  4. Lariat SC antimater blue 8 foot bed, No AS. Looking like about 2.5 months from order to delivery
  5. Thanks for the heads up, I have seen that in our research. I included options to max out 250 capacity. We are not looking at any of the big rigs. Probably a 310 or something similar. The math works out fine with a safety factor. Assuming the Ford Superduty specs I have studied are reliable!
  6. ice-capades is spot on. Like any slice of any group be it accountants, doctors, contractors, dealerships, whatever, there are some who are contentious, shoot straight, and good at what they do and then there are others not so much. My dealer submitted order for 2022 F250 July 9. I received an email from Ford that day with a build window week of August 23 and a VIN number. Today I checked the tracker and the truck is in production at Kentucky plant, one week early. Ford included a link to the window sticker. Cannot lie I feel quite fortunate after hearing some of the other stories on this forum and feel for you. And yes I am pretty excited. Love the posts about Grand Design. Been looking for about 6 months and will be honing in on some candidates soon after the truck arrives. Probably a late model Solitude. Correction: The old floppy disc ain't what it used to be. Just went back to check emails and first one from Ford was just order confirmation. Got a second email July 20 with VIN and link to vehicle tracker.
  7. Same situation here. Received confirmation email July 20 with VIN and build week of August 23. But when I go to tracker it says the same information as previous screen shots...."Once scheduled, a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and estimated build date can be provided". Guessing, hoping, during the build week the tracker status will update to "in production".
  8. Received the confirmation pasted below in email from Ford today. When I used the Ford order tracking system with the VIN and order number provided in the email it showed me five sections I can expand to review the vehicle details (model information, exterior, interior, accessories, and packages). Not everything in the build submitted by the dealer is shown in these details. For example I ordered an 8 foot box and high capacity towing package. Neither of these are listed. Should this list be comprehensive? Where can I go to confirm that the scheduled build at the production facility includes all of the options I ordered at the dealership? Thanks, MK
