  1. I wish Ford offered a hybrid gas engine for the Super Duty. This would be the best solution for making the SD a bit more environmentally friendly and improving miles per gallon. It would probably also improve torque and horsepower. The hybrid technology recharges when not accelerating and during braking. This seems like a perfect match for a large vehicle that requires constant acceleration to keep it rolling. When I am driving my SD, if I am not giving it some pressure on the accelerator, I want to be slowing down. An electric SD is not appealing at all, because I use my vehicle for road trips and camping. I would not want to stop and wait for a recharge.
  2. How do Exclusive Cash Rewards get applied when ordering a Ford vehicle? Ford Marketing tells me its up to the dealer if they honor these kinds of rewards. The dealer says its up to the Ford corporate rep. Who pays for these rewards? The dealer or Ford corporation? Here is my situation. I recieved the attached ECR which clearly says it can be used on an ordered vehicle. I have a Ford Super Duty on order, but the dealer says, sorry the truck would need to arrive by the expiration date, September 30, 2021. Obviously its not going to be here in time for that. So, do I have a shady dealer or are these offers false advertising? Maybe I am missing something else? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I am currently shopping for options for my 2006 Crown Victoria. The seats are in horrible shape from letting my little brother use the car for a few years. I am looking into Katzkin. They are expensive, but they should last a long time.
  4. Chrome still looks great to many shoppers. Myself included. I do appreciate both though. I have price compared replacement Ford chrome vs painted bumpers for the Super Duty. Chrome is always more expensive. We all know the limitations of the trim level packages is a way to encourage many buyers to pay the price hike to jump up to Lariat. It often works and I am glad it does. Painted everything is a good profit option and is very popular right now. Higher trim level sales especially boost profit margins. This allows Ford to still offer an affordable STX Super Duty for budget shoppers like me! My previous and current truck's were XL STX trucks. But Ford won the next round. I have a Lariat on order. If Ford hadn't offered such nicely optioned STX trucks, I probably never would have come over to Ford. Now I am hooked on Ford and now that I can afford a Lariat I decided to take the price jump.
  5. I want a 7.3 version of this with a 12k tow rating! Too bad this would cost $200k+! If it was around half, I would go for it.
  6. I added a 2 inch spacer front level and some Pro Comp 18" wheels with 35" tires.
  7. Its been about 7 years since I was converted to being a Ford fan boy. A blacked out 2016 F150 won me over. It had the 2.7 motor, STX, sport, and FX4 packages. I miss that truck! Due to a larger travel trailer, we decide to move up to a 2019 F250, 6.2 gas, STX, FX4. Its been a great truck! I have enjoyed doing a number mods to it.
