  1. I picked up my second 2022 F250 yesterday - ordered Dec. 2nd. Dealer gave me $2500 off MSRP upon my order and asked for no money down. All paperwork was in order when I picked it up, price out the door was exactly as quoted in December. They even put on the Ford mudflaps free of charge because I forgot to put them on the order. There are a few dealers that really do care about repeat customers and value the business.
  2. My farm co-op in Wisconsin. It's E85 fuel that is so cheap, unleaded is $3.75 a gallon, diesel $4.34 as of a few hours ago.
  3. I paid $2.64 for E85 this morning. Maybe the 6.2 will save me a few bucks.
  4. I purchased a topper from A.R.E. for my F250 - the two black antennas on the back of the cab actually stick up higher than the topper. Not sure how much higher the F350 would be in the back end compared to an F250. Hope that helps.
  5. Today I picked up a "barn find" Super Duty from the original owner in northern New Mexico. It's a 2000 F250 SuperCab Lariat, 4x4 with the 7.3 Powerstroke. The truck is in amazing condition being stored indoors since new and I turned 103k miles on the way home. Last November the previous owner caught the right rear of the box with one of his Case IH tractors while moving it in his storage building. Unfortunately the box is not repairable, but luckily it was the only part of the truck that was damaged. Instead of replacing the box I am going to install a flatbed - it's how I convinced my wife I needed a third Super Duty. (I told her it was to haul more hay for her horses.) Looking for recommendations as to what brands others have purchased and would they buy the same brand again. There is a CM Truck Bed dealer just over an hour away, but I don't know much about them. Thanks for any input.
  6. First picture is the day it came in at the dealer, second is a week later after I got the ARE topper installed. Ordered first week of April 9th of last year, delivered October 12th. My dealer gave me a huge discount off MSRP when I ordered it as I'm a repeat customer. By the time it came in, the few Super Duties they could get were $5000 over MSRP. Only have 2000 miles so far but I wouldn't change anything on it.
  7. I was originally planning on selling my immaculate barn queen 2000 F250 Super Duty Lariat (Power stroke, 4x4, only 81K) but no one wanted to give me much for it, which was a surprise. Next I was going to trade in my other barn queen 2013 F150 XLT (Ecoboost, 4x4, only 27K) but for some dumb reason I could not get rid of it. So much to the irritation of my wife I kept both and now have three trucks. However I did compromise and sold my motorcycle which paid for half - the rest I financed through my credit union at 1.89% for 36 months. At that interest rate it was worth it for me. I don't have any other toys (camper, boat, etc.) so I guess I'm becoming a pickup collector.
  8. I purchased the ARE topper as I had two ARE toppers in the past and they had great paint and no quality issues. It took 6 months from order to deliver - came in just a week before my F250 did. Here is mine with the trailer I bought to go with it.
  9. I would give the entire experience an A+. Ordered in April of 2021 and dealer gave me a discount of over $4000 off of MSRP. I changed my initial order twice but my salesman took care of everything with no issues. My salesman was great every time I checked in with him, about every 6 weeks. My only issue was that I received notification from Ford that my truck was at the dealership but it was not - it actually came in 8 days later. Other than that the Ford tracking info was right on. When I picked up the truck they spent 45 minutes with me making sure I knew every feature and helped set up my iPhone with Sync. No surprises when completed the paperwork and no silly add ons - price was exactly what I agreed to in April. Could not have been any better.
  10. Well the latest in the saga is that it appears it never actually arrived. The Ford web link tracking status says it was delivered, but that does not appear to be the case. It was scheduled to be here this week anyway - thanks for the suggestions, keep you posted on if it actually arrives! The general manage at the dealer is a personal friend and he is back tomorrow, hopefully he can shed some light on it.
  11. Wonder if anyone has experienced this - ordered my new F250 in April, received several e-mails from Ford, the last one indicating it was built and shipped. I tracked it through Ford website link which indicates the dealer received it 10/04/21. Dealer said yes, it's here and I set things up tomorrow (Oct. 8th) to finally bring it home. This afternoon I received a call from the dealer saying they don't have the truck and can't even find it. Now, I can't even track it through Ford's website using the VIN. It's still on my Ford Pass app so I hope that's a good thing. Hoping someone with more Ford knowledge than I have could offer some insight. Thanks!
