  1. Well first of all, Merry Christmas fellow Superduty owners. Just got the shipped email this morning. My truck was built on 12/21 and shipped today. Looks like they’re still shipping trucks through the holidays. Scheduled to be delivered between 1/7/22 - 1/13/22. For the guys who think their trucks won’t move until mid January, after the shut down, there still is hope.

From what I'm seeing, that "In Production" status really doesn't mean anything. My F350 has been "In Production" since December 9th, with no change in status since then. So that kinda indicates to me the truck is really not being built but instead is waiting for some commodity preventing it from being built. I think my dealer and I will have a discussion after the 1st of the year so we can try to figure out what that commodity is, and if it's an option I can live without, to delete it from the order. If it's a chip shortage, there is nothing that can be done except wait. However, if it's something like the spray-on bedliner, then it will be deleted.

From what I’ve read and have been told, once your truck has a scheduled build date, no changes can be made to your order. Now that you’re in production, you really won’t be able to make a change. Unfortunately, you may just have to sit tight and wait like the rest of us have with these commodity issues. It sucks. It’s been 32 weeks for me. Mine is finally built with adaptive steering and 5th wheel prep; 2 items high on the “hold up” list.

Hopefully it gets shipped tomorrow before the shutdown. And I just noticed from FTE site you are from South Louisiana.  I grew up in Assumption and St. Mary parishes, with family In Thibodaux and Houma areas.

Are you serious? I'm from Thibodaux, born and raised. I moved to Gonzales almost 2 years ago. Small world.

    What truck did you order?

Did you get your “Built” email and your shipped.  Mine was built on the 13th and now on Chip Hold.  So won’t ship before shutdown

I only got the "built" email so far. I haven't seen "shipped" yet. I'm not holding my breath that it will ship before the shut down. It will probably be the end of January before it makes it to me.

  5. After 32 weeks, my truck is finally built. My original order went in on 4/12, only to get rejected as a 2021 on 5/10 and resubmitted as a 2022. I was confirmed on 5/10 and my production week changed 8 times before finally getting built on 12/21.

    My options as as follows:

    - F250 Lariat Value Package

    - FX4

    - Carbonize Gray Metallic

    - 6.7 power stroke

    - 10 speed transmission

    - Trailer tow high capacity

    - 3:55 electric locking rear end

    - Adaptive steering

    - Ultimate trailer tow camera system

    - 5th wheel prep

    - Carpet delete

    - All weather floor mats without carpet

    - Uplifted switches

    - Roof marker lights

I'm having the dealership install my Rhino bed liner, 2" leveling kit, and my aftermarket tires and rims. My truck went into production on 12/13 and never notified of a chip hold like others are experiencing. I'm beyond ready for this truck.

  6. Finally got my build date and window sticker after being ordered since 5/10/21. Build date is 12/13/21. Fingers crossed I get it before the end of the year but at least it’s getting built.

Hello! First post, but have had multiple Super Duty over the years.

on 11/19, I ordered an F250 Platinum. The dealer input it as priority 10. I did receive my order confirmation email from Ford. I was told my ETA would be 2-3 months which seems in line with what people are seeing as reality.

So I just ordered my new 2022 F250 a week ago.  How long is it taking to get them built.  Just wondering

F250 Lariat, FX4, Carbonize Gray Metallic, 6.7 power stroke, 10 speed transmission, trailer tow high capacity, 3:55 rear end, adaptive steering, ultimate trailer tow camera system, 5th wheel prep.

As of today, this has been the progress on my truck:

    Order confirmed - 5/10/21

    Production Week - 9/20/21

    Production Week - 9/13/21

    Production Week - 10/25/21

    Production Week - 11/8/21

    Production Week - 12/6/21

Production Week - 11/15/21 (Last email from Ford)

Notified by Dealer on 10/7/21 - Truck as been "Sent to Plant"

Notified by Dealer on 10/27/21 - Scheduled Build Date - 11/17; Dealer Delivery 12/18

Notified by Dealer on 11/16/21 - Production Week - 12/13/21; Dealer Delivery 1/3/22

This is just my time line. There are others that have been waiting longer than I have and there are people that have gotten their trucks in 2 months. I don't understand why Ford is building some trucks before others. I'm ready for my truck to be delivered to end this nightmare. This truck better be worth the wait.

I ordered 7/27 Mine was originally scheduled for 10/25, then 11/01, then 11/08 and now 11/15.  Looks like it might stick anyone have them pushed back more than three weeks since scheduled production?

Order 2022 F250 CCSB Lariat Value FX4, 6.7 power stroke w/ 10 speed trans, Carbonized Gray, high cap trailer tow package w/ ultimate camera system, 3:55 E lock rear end, 5th wheel prep, adaptive steering, and carpet delete w/ non carpet mats

This is my experience thus far:

Originally ordered: 4/12/21 (wouldn't let me order as a 2022 so had to put in as a 2021)

Had to reorder as a 2022 on 5/10/21

    Order confirmed: 5/10/21

    Production Week: 9/20/21

    Production Week: 9/13/21

    Production Week: 10/25/21

    Production Week: 11/8/21

    Production Week: 12/6/21

    Production Week: 11/15/21

My dealership informed me on 10/27/21 that my truck was scheduled to be built on 11/17/21. So far I haven't gotten an email from Ford showing "In Production". Fingers crossed that it gets built this week. I'm beyond ready. This isn't my first Ford truck, but is my first Super Duty.

I apologize in advance if this question has been answered/explained before. I tried my best to read through the comments as to not bother you guys with the same repetitive questions.

I received an email from Ford saying my ordered date has pushed back to 12/6 (original order date of 5/10 with many push-backs on build weeks). I just got word from my dealership that my truck has been "sent to plant", but still showing build week of 12/6.

Does this mean that my truck should be scheduled to be built next build week being its showing "sent to plant", or does this mean that it shouldn't get pushed back anymore and should get built the week of 12/6?
