That what I got too delivered to Buffalo NY in March. I agree, but at least 4 different chat agents gave me the same number. I'm going in to the dealer tomorrow. Thanks

What date are they telling you it shipped?  I wonder if it just hasn’t started moving yet and the tracking is just for that rail cars last trip.

The e-mail may not reflect the actual vehicle status. Your Dealer can confirm the latest reported status and vehicle location via the Vehicle Visibility Report.

I can attest to this.  My vehicle shows “Built”  on 6/29 on the tracker.  The VVR and the rail tracking show it was shipped on 6/26 (3 days earlier than it was even built according to the tracker).

I posted on FB and someone with a 5/26 got his email this morning too. The inside ford guy said Only 57 more mcs trucks to finish

Yup I saw that too.  I believe it was a she.  Same build day as me so my email hopefully isn’t too far behind.  She called the delay the “Platinum Curse”.  Lol.  Ain’t that the truth.

Hooray.....Got the email my trucks is built with a delivery between July 23, 2022 and July 29, 2022. Prod 5/14/22  ordered 6/7/21. Hopefully you'll get yours soon.

Congrats!  It looks like they’re making progress on these trucks.  Up until yesterday people with production dates of 5/3-5/9 were getting their built emails.  Glad to see they’ve moved up to 5/14.  Shouldn’t be long before the rest of the trucks built through the end of May waiting on these modules get cleared out.  ?

I read that it great. I checked today still on hold. Waiting patiently Prod. 5/14

I've counted four posts so far today where the order status changed to built.  The latest one I saw was built 5/9.  So hopefully yours will be changing soon.  Mine was built 5/26 so I may have a little while to go.

Dealer just called with an update on my hold issue.  It is the PM sensor.  It was built within the timeframe that it will only operate at 35mph and is being held until July 15 before earliest possible release.  It’s BS but at least now I know.  That will put it in “shipping” status over 2 months.  What a deal

    What was your production date?

I am also scheduled for the week of the 27th. Can I look for my window sticker someplace or is it in an email only?

I fear the dread pushed back email as well.

My window sticker showed up here about a day before it showed up on the order tracker page.  Try putting your VIN at the end and see what happens.

  8. An update on the MCS hold. I spoke with CS yesterday and asked about my order status.  I was told the usual “your vehicle is in production” with the same ETA as before.  I was about to end the call when I asked “so no changes on my microchip hold?”   The rep then said “I don’t see any chip holds on your vehicle”.  I felt that was strange since every other rep both chat and phone has always been able to see it.  I inquired with my dealer who made a phone call and they found out the MCS modules were installed in my truck on June 9th and it left the factory.  After finding this out another user also on the same mcs hold inquired and found out his were also installed on June 11th. But for some reason the order statuses are not being updated.  If you are on the MCS hold I would reach out to your dealer and ask them if they see a chip hold still listed on your truck.  If not, then it probably already got the modules installed like mine.  Current ETA listed is 6/30 - 7/6 despite still showing in production on the tracker.

"I have not seen a platinum dually built in awhile."

Ford is saving the best ones for last.

The new ones going into production are being built within a day or so because they no longer have to wait on the multi contour seat modules.  Those of us with platinums built in May are still waiting for that coveted built email.

Any news on this? They should announce if it's a possibility or impossibility.

The same guy said today that the trucks on hold for the MCS modules will be getting them installed before they leave the factory.  The ones coming down the assembly line now with the delete are not getting the hardware needed to add the modules later.

True no body has said / posted or even any speculated on what Ford is going to do with the trucks already built waiting for the module to be installed there or at the dealer. Does Ford have a plan on how this is going tp be handled.

The trucks on hold for the mcs modules will continue to be on hold until the modules come in and are installed.  Trucks being built from here on out will have the feature deleted. The trucks with the multi contour delete have different hardware installed in the seats - so it won’t be possible to just add the modules later to add the feature back.

Got a text from my dealer shortly after posting. Says it’s scheduled to start Sunday the 19th. Is it normal to get scheduled for a Sunday?

Yes.  The plant normally runs 7-days a week. Your scheduled “day” can be any day of your scheduled week.  Since Sunday is the last day of your scheduled week don’t be surprised if you get an email saying your scheduled week has changed to June 20th.  Since you are scheduled for the last day of the June 13th scheduling week that email will be automatically triggered if your day gets pushed back even one day.

My truck was built May 24th and is still awaiting to be shipped. The tracking website says the truck would be shipped in a few days to one week. Now it’s been 2 weeks.

Window sticker says shipping via convoy.

    Is this typical lately?

Original ordered November 11th so this has been a long wait.

Can people let me know how long their truck took to ship once built? Thanks.

Does your truck have multi-contour seats?  If so, the MCS modules are not readily available and trucks being built with these seats are being put on a corporate stop ship.

  14. Just wanted to give an update on the multi contour seats for those of you stuck in production.

My build day on my F450 Platinum was 5/26.  Tracker still shows in production.  Im actually already fully built including the spray in bedliner, but in a corporate stop ship awaiting the MCS modules.  I checked with Ford and my order has an ETA to the dealer of 6/30-7/6 (and I’m in CA).  This “hopefully” means they are expecting modules soon.  I have gotten confirmation from someone in the know at the factory that the trucks built with the MC seats awaiting the modules will be getting them installed before shipping (meaning they will not be deleted).  The future trucks that are getting the feature deleted have different internals being installed in the seats.  As of yesterday (6/2), they were still building them with the multi contour seats.  I’m not sure when they will switch over to the deleted seats.  And yes, I know some people were built in May and had their MC seats deleted.  These were the test trucks for the deleted MC seat hardware.  If you’re already passed your build day and you want to see if your MC seats have been deleted, simply look under “Accessories” on the tracker page for “Multi-Contour Delete”.  If you don’t see that - then you are most likely also on a corporate stop ship awaiting the modules.

I ordered a F250 Platinum Tremor with everything except the AS. My order date was 8/18/21. I've been bumbed 11 times. Finally got an in production on 5/23/22. All of my modules have populated. I'm just waiting on the built and shipped email. I haven't heard a peep from the dealership. I have reached out to them twice. Once to say I got my VIN and a build date and another time to tell them it was being built. They didn't seem to care a bit. These stealerships should be keeping us up to date with what is going on. I 100% agree with you.

Same boat as you on a Platinum F450.  Built the same week as you after 10 reschedules.  Unfortunately we’re both on a corporate stop ship awaiting for the MCS modules.

Has anyone determined if Ford has cancelled the massage seats in all of their vehicles or just some of them?   It could be that they are diverting their limited quantities to one particular vehicle ...  COUGH COUGH ... F-150 Lightning ...  COUGH COUGH   I haven't checked yet but I could see that happening.

My first thought would be to their Lincoln vehicles.

That sucks! I was hoping to get scheduled soon, and I  have a vacation starting the first of August. If you’re pushed back to July 18, my vacation’s screwed.

I have some summer camping trips planned too that I felt like were going to be ruined by not getting my truck.  In the end I decided I wasn’t going to let Ford ruin it for me.  I was able to rent a 3/4 ton pickup from Enterprise for $450/week (plus taxes).  Yeah it sucks, but renting it for 2-weeks a month in June and July to get me through the summer is still less than the truck payments will be haha. I’m hoping to have my truck by the July vacations since I’m finally in production but who knows.
