  1. Yes, I was June 27, didn’t get produced before the shutdown. I received an email from Ford July7th stating they had hit additional supply chain issues and that “they want nothing more than to get your Ford up on the line and start assembling it.” So the way I read it is they had it scheduled, now it hasn’t even hit the assembly line. Dealer states it still shows in production as does the tracker. 350 KR LB Dually (no AS, no bedliner) Ordered 11/30/2021 es

  3. Does anyone know if shipping continues for built trucks during the 2 week shutdown? As in those which were built before the shutdown and were ready to ship, not the ones that were already in transit.
  4. @ice-capades Should those who have an In-Production email with a build date for this week expect to see those trucks built this week? Is there a chance those carry over into subsequent weeks after the July shutdown? Out of curiosity, are the Super Duty plants running night shifts at the moment?
  5. Received the scheduled email today. Ordered on 11/27/21 Scheduled for 06/20/2022 F350 KR 6.7 DRW LB - Quad LEDs, Upfitters, MudFlaps
  6. That would be great! This solves part of the issue, but energy generation and infrastructure still is a problem. Wide adoption is pushed by politicians and they’d like the switch around the same time as the plan in the article. Current lithium production estimates 100,000 metric tons were mined in 2021. We can assume an average (emphasis on average!!) EV uses 22lbs of lithium. Given current production and if every single ounce of lithium was used (no other batteries - i.e. iPhones, cameras, electronics) for EVs, we could produce roughly 10M cars last year. As of 2020, there we 276M registered cars in the US alone. It would take about 27 years to replace all the cars in the US. Current USGS estimates place known global lithium reserves at 21M metric tons. Using the same math, that would allow us to replace the 1.4B estimated cars on global roads one time while leaving us with about 14M metric tons remaining. That’s just to replace what’s on the roads now. Obviously there would exponentials and we’d have to account for battery degradation along with vehicle replacement due to loss, but it illustrates the point that politicians are living a pipe dream with their current timetables. Yes, technology will get better, but what I’m saying is we have to be realistic with our goals and ability to achieve them.
  7. Of course they’re not. I am saying we have to extract fossil fuels and burn those for electricity that’s used in EVs. There are fossil fuels that burn cleaner and have a more earth friendly extraction than petroleum, but the principle remains. On top of the dirty fossil fuel extraction, we’re extracting rare earth metals in what you might call less than clean processes, so we’re doubling down on unfriendly extraction to build a vehicle that’s better for the environment????? I think that encapsulates the fallacy of current selling point for EVs. What drives me crazy about EV owners is they think they’re saving the earth by not producing direct carbon out the tailpipe, when the majority of the electricity used in their cars is produced from burning carbon emitting fossil fuels. An exception would be those who have solar on their homes for a net zero draw from the grid. Again, until we have better battery tech, improved infrastructure and true renewable energy that supports the upgraded infrastructure, EVs are a dream for a total replacement of ICE vehicles or in your words, a fantasy of buttercups and rainbows. Like with all things, it will come with time, but I’m not on board for the policial strong arming to “save the earth” in a short few years.
  8. It’s not about carbon emissions. We have a heavy reliance on fossil fuels for electricity generation in the US and the mining of rare earth minerals for the components in EVs isn’t the most environmentally friendly process. Until we have efficient, reliable and consistent renewable energy, I don’t think it make sense for electric to be our prodomient transportation source. Hybrids bridge the gap until infrastructure, battery tech and renewables are in place.
  9. 7 months isn’t bad for a 450. How was working what Wilson Motor?
  10. I’m mid November on mine. Performance Ford. Haven’t got a bump in priority and dealer is mildly incompetent. I’m ready for the process to be over lol
  11. Also from Utah! @tcritch3 who did you order from? I’m 5 months in on my 350 CCLB KR with no scheduling.
  12. Has anyone else been told by their dealer they are unable to bump priority from anything less than 19? My dealer told me this morning that it’s out of their hands and it’s completely up to Ford corporate. I mentioned they should have the ability to bump it to a 10, but he circled back to the same talking points. I couldn’t get any details on how many SD orders they have either as this wasn’t easily accessible. Any thoughts or suggestions? I’m about 4.5 months in, so jumping to another dealership isn’t ideal.
  13. Same for me. I’m assuming it’s an update only. No VIN or build date.
  14. Hi Cyberdman, Hope that you are well. Could I have an update on the following build: 2022 F350 King Ranch 6.7 CCLB DRW 4x4 Rapid Red: Sales Code: F56023 Order Code: 4062 Thank you!

  16. Hi Cyberdman, I had a build change. Could I have an update on the following build: 2022 F350 King Ranch 6.7 CCLB DRW 4x4 Rapid Red: Sales Code: F56023 Order Code: 4062 Thank you!
  17. Hi Cyberdman, Taking up your offer for a last update before the holiday shutdown. 2022 F350 Lariat 6.7 CCLB SRW 4x4 Rapid Red Order Code: 4062 Sales Code: F56023 Have a wonderful break and holidays!
  18. Hi cyberdman, Appreciate your time and service. May I please have an update on the following 2022 F350 Lariat 6.7 CCLB SRW 4x4 Rapid Red: Order Code: 4062 Sales Code: F56023 Thank you!
  19. For those who own or have ordered the Tremor package, what is your reasoning: the performance, looks or both? I agree with the appearance, but if you’re being honest, do you feel the performance is there for an off road package?
  20. I wouldn’t do 2k let alone 5k! My dealer didn’t care about a deposit, but I ended up with $500 down, refundable at any time. Especially out of state, I’d be very careful…
  21. What do you want to know? If you browse around you’ll see it largely depends on your dealer, trims, options, location, etc. It’s too subjective to answer that.
  22. Also late to the party. If you think Bezos net is big, look at Elon. His net worth after the last stock TSLA pump rocketed. At least he’s a halfway decent human when compared to Bezos .
  23. Check your local junk yards. I’ve found the most random parts there. It takes time, but you’ll save money too.
