After coming off chip hold, then showing as "built" for almost three weeks, I finally received notification (this morning) that my truck has shipped. Hopefully, it will be a relatively quick transport to Tampa.

Other than the VVR, does a dealer have any other vehicle (pun intended) to follow up on the status of an order? Is there a factory/plant contact they can interface with if they have concerns or issues?

Can I get some guidance on the proper interpretation of the ETA Start Date and End Date columns? My status is "Awaiting Shipment". Do the ETA Start/End dates represent the window in which the truck is supposed to ship from the plant, or do they represent the window in which the truck is expected to be delivered to the dealer? Or something else entirely?

That's a great example of good customer service. I purchased a "non-Ford" vehicle a few years ago directly from the dealer over the phone...agreed upon the price, agreed upon the financing terms, and took delivery all without setting foot in the dealership. The salesman delivered the vehicle to my home where we did the test drive and PDI along with the typical walk through of the how things work. The documents required my wife's signature, so he left the vehicle with me and had someone from the dealership pick him up. I brought the signed paperwork to him the next day. Needless to say I purchased another vehicle from that same dealership/salesman two years later. Wish they sold Ford products...

I received a "Built" email from Ford on 12/19, with the next step to be shipping and an ETA of 1/6. I have not received an update stating it has shipped. Haven't checked with my dealer as it's kind of moot at this point.

Same here. Built, but haven't received a shipping notification. Estimated delivery of 1/6, but if it doesn't ship today, who knows...

For those in microchip purgatory, there is hope. Just received my "built" email notification. Production date was 11/26.

Same here...build date 11/26 with chip hold, but FordPass activation button went live yesterday. Still not showing as built however...

Here's the VVR my dealer pulled around noon today. A couple of questions: Secondary Status shows "Sent Offsite", but the ETA Disposition shows "Micro Chip At Plant On Hold". Is the vehicle at GFX or back at the plant? All other VVRs I've seen have multiple lines but this image has only one. Is this just a function of the way the dealer extracted the report? TIA

I'm having that option installed!

Below is a copy of my VVR as provided by my dealer this past Monday. It shows "Produced" and to the right of that status, there's a date range. Can someone advise what "Produced" means (I assume it means "built" but...) and the meaning of the date range? TIA ?

Not me...tracking still shows "In Production". I did speak with Ford marketing and they told me I should be "optimistic" as my delivery ETA is still 12/20 and not "TBD". My dealer pulled my VVR and it shows delivery between 12/19 and 12/25.

If you pull up your window sticker, it will show if your truck is shipping by rail or convoy. You can access your sticker using this link: https://seg.fyi/mache-vin/#/details but you need your order number and your VIN...hopefully you received that from your dealer. Lower center of the WS:
