When I ordered last fall the ford dealer gave me an estimate on what my jeep would be worth if I traded that day. As of now it's 2,000 more if I trade with my local GMC dealer. I ordered my truck on 8/24/21 and only have the confirmation email along with the email from last night that some of you received. With all that is going on in the world right now I really don't see the chip or commodity problem getting resolved anytime soon and it appears it could get worse. If I had been picked up this past week the production week would have still been early May and if the pushbacks continue it could be June or July build date. I'm willing to bet I'd be lucky to see my truck in the next 4-6 months. The good thing is as these trucks continue to get harder to find new on both ford, GM, and Chevy and the used car prices have remained high due to demand. Fuel prices might hurt some but I'm willing to take that chance. A jeep won't hold the value of a HD or SD truck. So, with the 2k better on trade along with the 1000.00 off MSRP GMC is giving me I'm going to take them up on it. I'm still going to trade the AT4 2500 in on my F350 Plati when it gets here but the chances of me taking beating on the jeep are much greater than on the HD. Good luck to everyone and I hope we all have our trucks by the Fall of this year.

I 100% agree. It’s nice to be somewhat in the know if operations are moving or not just to keep my thoughts in check and not get angry. I get pissed off enough seeing trucks identical to mine with orders placed after I did get scheduled. It’s been 5 months and 17 days for me as of today. Still no VIN.

I’ve tried to go back and see if I can find the answer to this question but I apologize in advance for asking again if someone else has already. I’m pretty sure I’ll end up removing the 5th wheel and spray in liner tomorrow. On 8/24/21 I placed an order for F350 Platinum SRW and wondering what all is left off by removing the 5th wheel? Thanks for any help with this info.

I thought about dropping the 5th wheel hitch and bedliner but I’m going to ride it out. If I give in now then I’ll never be happy when it does get here. I’d rather wait and get what I really want and not settle for less. So my advise would be stick with what you want and will be happy with. ?

I am in the same boat as you but haven’t been scheduled yet. However, I know me too well and after getting some advice I decided to ride it out. If I start taking stuff off just to get it made quicker I’ll never be 100% happy and want to keep it for a while. I’ll look at what I don’t have and wish I had not taken it off. So I’m going to ride this out to get what I’m after. I was hard pressing the dealer and just kept getting angrier every time I reached out. So I’ve decided just relax and be patient. It sucks but part of the game I’ll play to get what I want.

LOL............it's like you've been watching me from afar! I feel like I've been caught and just give into the pain of waiting.

It's like I've been challenged........... now I can't stay off these crazy forums. I used to be on Mercurymarauders.net when I had my 2003 Marauder. I was so addicted to that and now I"m catching myself doing this here. ? I spent too much money and built that car up to 640 RWHP. It was a beast for its time. Trying to dig out info here and the wait is killing me to but yet I keep coming back for more. We will both hang in there and ride it out. After driving this one I can promise you it will be worth the wait. The big screen is phenomenal!

He and I ordered the same day (8/24/21), Platinum F-350 (mine has 5th wheel prep), and mine is black/black. He has his and I'm in limbo no VIN. Driving this truck today def got my blood going. ?

When it came in I had him ask the dealer not to wash it because they usually use a brush and I didn't want to have fine scratches to get out. So today was its first wash since leaving the factory. After washing it I felt for any roughness which would indicate needing to claybar but fortunately it didn't require it. I use the Carpro system and all that they have to prep it. This truck was in such good shape it only needed the final stage of polish (Carpro Essence) which I allow to sit for 8 hours after applying. I was going to apply the Carpro Ceramic (Carpro Cquartz UK 3.0) tonight but it's a little too cool. I'll get it applied tomorrow afternoon and post some additional pictures. This is my friends 2022 F-350 Platinum. I've washed and polished prepped it for ceramic this evening.

Ditto here as well. Ordered 8/24/21 and all I have is the confirmation email with order number. A friend of mine and I ordered F-350 Platinum's 10 min apart from the same dealer. His is White/Dark Marsala and mine is Black/Black. Only difference other than color is mine has 5th wheel prep package and his didn't. He has his in his garage and mine has yet to be scheduled. It is what it is at this point.
