  1. I've had my truck for about a month and half now and just now noticing there is no CD player because of this post. I probably would have gone forever without noticing. I typically just use a streaming service like Spotify in lieu of CDs.
  2. Here's a pic, not the best pic. I'll try to get a better one. Front sticks out maybe 1/8 to 1/4", rear is pretty flush. Wheels are 20x9 with +2 offset, tires are 35x11.5. I really like the look of the wheel and tire combo. Currently have a 2" rough country level kit on it with a Tremor valance/air dam. I've been considering dropping the front half an inch or so, it's pretty level as is.
  3. Nice set up! I've got the same set up but 20x9 Vapors and 35.11.5 tires. Mine don't stick out quite as much, almost none in the rear, but about a 1/4" in the front. I've been debating adding some flares. What kind of gas mileage is she getting with that set up? Mine has not been great...
  4. Man, my heart hurts for you! Beautiful truck. Thank God that everyone is okay, at the end of the day it's just a truck, there are more important things. I hope their insurance will take care of you and get you square away with something new.
  5. F250 Platinum, 6.7 Powerstroke, picking her up tomorrow so technically not "delivered" quite yet. Showed up at the dealer last week and been waiting on a few accessories, wheels, tires, etc. Ended up going with a 2" Rough Country level kit with Fuel Vapor 20x9 +20 offset and 35x11.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Truck looks pretty level in the picture, can't wait to see it in person.
  6. Thanks @Robin Hood The dealer has told me they add these in addition to the castor shims. The castor shims get the alignment issue fixed and within tolerances and the damper just makes things a little smoother. This is all new to me though I've read hundreds of posts on level kits, track bar adjustments, castor shims, etc. Just have not seen much on the steering dampener.

I'm putting on a 2" level kit with track bar relocation and updated caster shims. My dealer said they've been installing these on all of them to stop the death wobble and have had great experiences with them, no issues at all. Anybody got any experience with this? Thanks!
  8. Its probably already gone if in stock and offered at MSRP. Doubt those are lasting very long these days. Most of the new cars that hit the dealer lots in my area are gone in a day or so.
  9. Is there a specific reason it doesn't have a push-thru gas cap that you don't have to remove every time you fill up? My 16 F150 has one as does my wife's suburban. Can't remember the last time I had to unscrew a gas cap, though if the 2022 F250s all have screw ons, then I will be doing so next week.
  10. Not sure if he ever sold or wheels or what but I’ll have a brand new set of take offs from my Platinum F250 available next week. 8 lug, 20”, with new Michelin tires that come stock. Will only have 10-15 miles on them from driving to and fro at plant/dealership. I’m in North MS. PM if any interest.
  11. That's great to hear! I had the same experience with my dealer. No issues with price protection, honored our agreed upon price when I ordered, and also honored my PCO that I had when I ordered. Great experience all the way around and glad you had the same!
  12. Look what showed up at the dealer yesterday morning! Pretty quick ship time from railyard to dealer in today's environment. Thanks again for the help tracking it! I'll post some better pics of the finished product when I take delivery.
  13. Well my truck is finally at the dealer! 15 days earlier than the ETA. They are adding a few items (level kit, wheels/tires, Tremor air dam, etc.) so I likely won't pick up until next Friday (work trip in between, killing me to wait that long knowing its there and will be ready earlier). Here's my timeline: Ordered 9/3/21 Added tonneau cover 10/15/21 (I don't think this was a commodity issue at the time, but I wanted it anyway so I stuck with it throughout) Dropped spray in bedliner 12/1/21 (other than the tonneau cover, this was my only commodity issue I was aware of) Schedule to week email: 1/13/22 for week of 2/14/22 Never got an email but scheduled to day for 2/18/22 at some point before 1/27/22 (thanks cyberdman) Built on 2/18/22, moved to upfitter (GFX) for tonneau cover Shipping Email on 3/10/22 (sat at the upfitter for while) Arrived in Memphis railyard 3/17/22 with ETA of 4/6/22 to dealer 100 miles away Dealer texts me at 10:30AM yesterday, 3/22/22 with a picture of it sitting at his lot! Ordered from Cannon Ford in Cleveland MS. Can't say enough good things about them. They've been super helpful, extremely fair, and have kept me updated with the status throughout. I don't know about my initial priority code, never really knew to ask until I started exploring here, but I did ask in mid November and dealer confirmed he had gotten it moved up to 02 which seems pretty quick for my order date so I really appreciated that.
  14. Thanks @Evanl, those look great on your truck. I'm guessing mine will end up being pretty flush, we shall see. I've heard good things on the ceramic coating as well, something to consider. My brother just had his done and it looks great.
  15. Well what do you know, my truck showed up at the dealer this morning! Had to make a call on the tire size pretty quickly, settled on 295/65x20 after talking through it with the guy at the dealership. Guess I can always swap them out for a different size down the road if I want to.
  16. Thanks for the info @Evanl The pics aren't showing up for me though. Do you mind reposting when you get a chance? I'd love to see your truck.
  17. I believe the 1.5” leveling kit should give the truck plenty of room to accommodate a 35, could be wrong though. Dealer seems to think it will as well. I am putting a Tremor air dam on there so that might make a difference in terms of rubbing on the extremely large stock air dam. My truck should be showing up in a week or two so I guess I’ll find out soon if nobody chimes in before then.
  18. This is my plan as well. I have the factory spray in on my 16 F150 and it is definitely nice. Pretty much indestructible, don't worry about scratches, etc. My only complaint is how much things slide around in the bed, it's definitely slippery. Since I had to drop the spray in anyway to get scheduled, I'll start out with a rubber bed mat and see how that goes. I hope it will keep things from sliding around as much as they do on the spray in. And as you note, any scratches that might happen on the uncovered sides of the bed can simply be covered with a spray in liner at a later date.
  19. I can't make up my mind on what size tire to throw on. It seems like a lot folks have been putting on 35x12.5x20 on these trucks and not having any issues, particularly if using a level kit. I'll be using Nitto Ridge Grapplers, a 1.5" leveling kit and some 20x9 Fuel Vapor Wheels with a +20 offset. I do not want the tires to stick out much if at all which has me second guessing my initial choice of 35x12.50. I'm wondering if the 295/65 (equates to 35.1x11.6 roughly) might be the better option, slightly taller, not quite as wide. I could also go with a 35x11.5. I am a total newbie when it comes to all of this so my ultimate question is how will all of these affect my performance as a daily driver, ie MPG and wear and tear? I'll happily sacrifice some off road performance for better MPG and/or better longevity. Would the wider tire or the narrower tire be the better the daily driver in terms of MPG and wear? Also, I've seen some discussions on how the various tires might affect payload. All of that is far beyond my comprehension though I suppose that is a factor but not a super important one for my purposes. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
  20. Awesome. Only another 100 miles or so to go from Memphis. Thank you sir!
  21. Bump for an update. Thank you sir! VIN: 1FT7W2BT0NED69645
  22. I got an email this morning that my truck had been built and had an ETA of 3/31 to 4/6. As of yesterday, my status from cyberdman's status checks forum had been unchanged since 2/18 reading as: In Transit - Received At Upfitter Gfx Louisville, KY Feb-18-2022, 18:53 ET. So it took almost 3 weeks to go across the street and get a retractable bed cover installed and then get back to Ford. I ordered 9/3 so we are right on target for a 7 month wait. Not complaining as some who ordered long before me are still waiting, just happy to be hopefully getting mine in the foreseeable future.
  23. My status remains unchanged from 2/18 when it was: In Transit - Received At Upfitter Gfx Louisville, KY Feb-18-2022, 18:53 ET. It's at the upfitter to get the retractable cover put on. Seems like that should not take 3 weeks. Wonder if they are waiting on the covers at GFX now? Or something else going on... Ordered on 9/3/21 so looking like 7 months more or less from order to delivery...at least I hope....
  24. I opted for both this go round even after coming out a loser on my 100K warranty I had on my F150. I sent my dealer Flood Ford's pricing and it was matched. This is my first diesel and seeing some pretty costly diesel repairs discussed got me willing to take the gamble on it. It's hard to see prices on all this going down over the next 8 years. In my humble opinion, locking both in at today's prices is not a bad hedge against future inflation. I know at a minimum I'll be close to breaking even on the service contract though whether the warranty pays off is anybody's guess.
  25. Bump for another update. Let's hope for some progress on shipping. Thank you again cyberdman! VIN: 1FT7W2BT0NED69645
