  1. Happy they brought Pro Power OnBoard to the Super Duty F-Series but very disappointed that it's only 2kW. I wonder if they're still working out the kinks and we'll maybe see a better version in 2024 or 2025.
  2. The F350 I ordered has been stuck in production since early May but I looked back and realized I forgot to add the roof clearance lights. Is it possible to have a dealership add them after the fact? I've searched this forum and using Google but I'm mostly pulling up after market options. Searching Ford Parts doesn't yield anything except for replacement lights for the front/rear/license plate/inside cab/glovebox. It's not a requirement I know, just a nice to have. My own fault for not triple checking the final build sheet from the dealer :/
  3. What engine do you have? Those are great numbers.
  4. I'm going to catch hell for this on this forum but I ended up getting the 7.3L Godzilla. I ordered a F350 SRW CCLB 7.3L 4.30. I originally was going to get a DRW with the 6.7L but my wife said she had to drive the thing around time when I'm not around so going to SRW it didn't make sense to keep the DRW - and with the towing capacity between the 6.7L and the 7.3L with a SRW being so close (I think it's like 5,000lbs more on the bumper tow for the diesel but only 1,000Lbs on the 5th wheel/gooseneck) I bite the bullet and did the Godzilla engine. For our purposes too, we're mostly going to be bumper pulling toys <15,000lbs and if we did get a 5th wheel, most of the ones we look at are <20,000lbs. Thanks to ice-capades uploading the order guides I managed to figure out how to spec the truck to get the maximum GVWR of 11,900 (anything higher you have to get the 6.7L engine). Fingers crossed I should get close to 4,000lbs of payload with the trim level I've picked which is really what I was after. The tongue weight of the trailer + wife's motorcycle was going to be hefty. The other thing that tipped it to the 7.3L was a gas motorhome we had. We had a Class A with the new F-53 chassis and the Godzilla engine and the thing was a best in the hills/mountains.
  5. I feel like I should play the lottery now sheesh.
  6. 2/1/2022. I did a ton of research on this forum and ford-trucks and skipped the bedliner, 5th wheel prep, and adaptive steering (still have adaptive cruise control).
  7. I got my schedule email! I totally didn't think it would happen seeing as there are a ton of users who haven't gotten anything! Build week of 3/28!
  8. I just tried too, they're gone! Power moonroof is gone too!
  9. Yes, any options picked will pretty much reduce payload. FX4 off road package, Tremor package, moon roof, heck even adding 5th wheel prep reduces payload! I know the 5th wheel hitch weighs about 200lbs and watching the install video in another thread I bet the prep kit itself is about another 200lbs. It's even worse when going through Ford's website to "build" a truck. If someone accidentally picks a GVWR option listed like attached (I picked an F350 SRW 8' bed), this decreases the available payload! I think by default the F350 SRW 8' bed comes with a 11,500 GVWR (with the 7.3L Gas, I think it's 12,400 with 6.7L Diesel) so picking either of those will either decrease payload by a little or a lot. There are options that can be picked like the heavy duty front suspension, snow plow, or camper packages that increase the GVWR a little more which will increase payload.
  10. So they don't do "out of band" scheduling? It's basically Thursday or nothing? Based on the other vehicles in the latest report is seems like schedules are already booked out until mid to late March and with the number of people here who have said they have orders from last year with no scheduling still; it's going to be a rough go for us who just recently put an order in. Fingers crossed I can at least get my truck before my birthday in August
  11. This may be a silly question but how does Ford schedule trucks? I see the scheduling plan that ice-capades posts in the Production Week Scheduling Information thread but is that guide basically saying Ford only schedules builds on Thursdays and next Thursday they're not scheduling anything?
  12. While those of us are waiting for their trucks I was wondering about payload capacity. Ford lists in their specifications what the maximum payload can be for a truck but it's pretty difficult to figure out the actual capacity based on trim levels and options. I'd love to see what payload capacities are out there. I'm super interested in F350 CCLB SRW payload capacity at the Platinum level with a 7.3 or the 6.7 engine if anyone has a truck in that range but also just curious in general how much it goes down from what Ford advertises.
  13. I ended up putting in another order tonight at a different dealership (one where my brother got his F-150). They’re much more responsive and I actually got a Ford email confirming the order, like I see other people get! Hoping now that I’ve lowered the trim to Platinum and don’t have 5th wheel prep, AS, and the spray in bedliner maybe I won’t have to wait 6+ months for a truck *fingers crossed*
  14. My current dealer isn't very responsive; luckily for me they also didn't take a deposit. The weird thing is I didn't get a order confirmation email from Ford after the order was placed on 1/5. Dealer did ask for a copy of my driver's license though. In terms of 2 separate transactions I was more worried about Ford maybe not accepting a second order if I put one in (since supposedly dealer's require a picture id). Does Ford not verify orders when they come in to see if someone is putting in multiple orders?
  15. Does anyone know if I have an order in with 1 dealer but I want to use a different one can I submit a second or do I have to hassle the 1st one to cancel? I've seen posts around on these forums that certain dealers will also offer a better deal than at MSRP. Does anyone know of any in Florida?
