  1. My salesman has been great with all info but and has told me it should arrive at the dealership 5/21. I checked the Csx rail car and it is empty. Figured it was in either Jacksonville or Orlando but want to confirm. I tried the hack for palsapp tracking but doesn’t work. Was hoping someone had access
  2. Can someone here do a search on palsapp? I cannot get into the palsapp tracking. My vin is 1FT8W3DT0NEE33013
  3. My sales guy texted me and asked if I received an email for delivery date of 6/1.. I have not received my email yet but good of him to let me know. I then informed him that the modules came up for truck this morning
  4. Ordered 1/17 pushed from 4/26 to 5/2 modules from batch 5608 came to life a f days ago so it’s lookin good
  5. Hey frog legs I’m in the same batch as you. 976/1759. Should go tomorrow
  6. Removing the resonator may give you an annoying drone. Usually around 1800 to 2000 rpm. You could make a 1/4 wave resonator that has no restriction and quiets down the in cab noise but louder out the exhaust. I made one for the wife’s mustang last year. Had a terrible drone inside the car around 1900 rpm. I believe the pipe was 39” with a cap on the end. Sound travels to end cap then back to exhaust pipe and they cancels the frequency of the drone. It really works! Her car has a v6 so the pipe is longer. A v8 will be shorter. The length of pipe is calculated by the frequency of the exhaust at the drone and how many cylinders. Very easy to drill a hole in exhaust and install the pipe
  7. Could I have and update please VIN 1FT8W3DT0NEE33013 Thankyou
  8. yes that’s one of my big lugs in the picture. As for my name, every name I entered was taken. As I was entering names the hounds were breathing in my face. I punched in Dog breath and to my surprise no one had taken the name. mad for my scheduled build date I was pushed from April 25th to may 2nd
  9. I would ask tomorrow. Go into this process educated as to where you in the order.
  10. J.J. If I were you just ask your dealer where you are in the order. How many in front of you and what you need to do to get scheduled. The squeaky wheel gets the grease as they say. Get a lower number priority. You have waited long enough
  11. Did you ask what number you were in the order bank? It took me 3 months to get from 11th truck order to getting scheduled. This is the issue with the dealers not being up front about how many are ahead of you waiting to be scheduled. They know what is allocated each month. And ford gets the blame for trucks not being scheduled when it’s the dealer not informing people that the truck they ordered will take months or more because of the orders ahead of them. People could call other dealers that don’t have as many orders and possibly get scheduled sooner
  12. Warm it up to operating temp then hook up your trailer and drive normally. After a few hours drive through the mountains. Get those rings seated before your first oil change. Very important or cylinder glazing may occur and you will be burning oil
  13. Came across this. Same issues as ford How long is the wait for a 2022 Silverado 1500? 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 | Chevrolet Generally, General Motors takes six to eight weeks to schedule a 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 order. Then they schedule the build and transport the truck to your local dealership. But the process could take a little longer due to supply chain shortages. Wait times could be between three to nine months. But it’s possible to find an available model at your local dealership.
  14. I had a chance to look at the wife’s car yesterday. I took off the cover behind the rear view mirror and the sensor was just laying loose, the clip that holds it was laying in the cover. I put sensor back in the windshield with the clip and a piece of gorilla tape. It works as it should now. When the wifey picked it up from the dealer a few months ago they said it was all fixed. They didn’t even try.
  15. What gets installed on our trucks at GFX? fifth wheel prep bed liner what else? mud flaps? wheel well liners? tonneau covers?
  16. Now that I have gone through this ordering process I think I may have this figured out. call dealers and ask how many SD allocations they have. ask how many SD orders they have waiting get any accessories that can be done after you get the truck off your build and do later get all your paperwork from the dealer completing the order so you are price protected maybe call dealers in the city that sell SD I would think big country dealers would get bombarded with orders? just some thoughts and ideas
  17. What did you order? Do you have any accessories that would have to be installed by GFX. I was told that even before Covid that anything going to GFX delayed trucks. My thought is that whatever they install I can do myself or get done elsewhere
  18. I could be wrong but I think you need to find a dealer that doesn’t have a big waiting list of orders
  19. No I just received my VIN today. I live in Wisconsin and ordered from a dealer in Orlando Fl. In the city. I had 11 in front of me when I ordered
  20. This is an issue with some places. They have parts replacers and no mechanics
  21. Ordered on 1/17 f350 lariat Cc long box dually. scheduled today for 4/25 i dropped 5th wheel prep and retractable tonneau cover. I didn’t want anything going to GFX I can install at home. Easy enough. I got ?
