  1. So my truck finally arrived at dealer yesterday after a year waiting for it. However, while the dealer is sure Ford will price protect the MSRP when ordered, he is not sure Ford will also honor a private offer/customer loyalty discount the dealer included in the original deal. I was never offered the discount directly from Ford. It was all communicated to me by the dealer. Does anyone have experience with this situation?
  2. I actually traded in a 2020 F250 CCSB that I had bought a Retrax Pro XR for, and I absolutely loved that cover. Its much better in several ways than the Roll-N-Lock. I took the cover off before trading my truck in and sold it since the dealer would not have given me much value for it in the trade-in. I then ordered a 2022 F350 CCLB with the intension of buying another Retrax Pro for the long bed truck I ordered. However, I then realized the Ford factory retractable cover option is in fact a Retrax Pro XR, and Ford only charges $1800 for that option when this long bed cover sells for $2,250 online. I ended up saving $450 by buying it with the truck. I made many calls to Ford and Retrax to make darn sure the Retrax Pro XR is Ford's retractable cover, albeit with Ford's emblem on it.
  3. Thank aKirby, So if I ordered a truck with the retractable cover, does the payload sticker not include the weight for that accessory? I'm guessing you meant to say the payload sticker does not include accessories added by owner after delivery?
  4. Does anyone know if Ford uses predetermined weights for various trim levels, accessories, packages, and options to calculate the resulting payload on the door sticker or if they actually weigh each completed truck coming off the line and simply deduct that weight from the truck's GVWR? Thanks
