  1. Hello again, can I please have an update on the below? 2022 F-250 6.7 CCSB. Order # K500 Dealer Code - F53681 Thanks again!
  2. Hello again, can I please have an update on the below? 2022 F-250 6.7 CCSB. Note - I did change from Iconic Silver to Oxford White (not sure if that matters or not). Order # K500 Dealer Code - F53681 Thank you for your continued efforts on doing this.
  3. Anyone have an Oxford White super duty with the Tremor package? I ordered a F-250 Ultimate Tremor in early Feb in Iconic Silver without the BAP as I still like chrome, but switched recently to Oxford White. I dont see much oxford, mostly Star White. I didnt care for the very slight yellow tint star white gives in certain situations, and prefer a more clean white. I'm also terribly indecisive and I'm trying to keep from going back and forth with Granger to switch colors/options, would love to see some OW Tremor pics.
  4. Wow that was fast after order, when did you get your VIN?
  5. I've used a few different brands over the past few years and have never really found one I liked. Either they are too deep and prevent stuff from sliding under it, too tall and block the view out the back window, too wide, all are hard to get in and out of. I WISH the Decked drawer system was not so tall, it seems like a great idea but leaves you with only about a foot of clearance up to the top of the bed side for hauling stuff. What toolbox, tonneau cover, slide out system have you guys been using and are happy with? I hate to just go buy the same old Camlocker toolbox, but it may just not get any better.
  6. Apologizes, Granger Ford sent me the wrong order #. Correct order info below: Order # K500 Dealer Code - F53681 Would you like me to start a new thread in a few months when I check again or bump/update this one?
  7. Good Morning, I'd like to get a status on the below. 2022 F-250 6.7 CCSB 4x4 Lariat Iconic Silver Order # - K513 Dealer Code - F53681 Thank you for providing this service to all of us.
  8. I wanted to order a print Super Duty brochure for me and my 5yr old son to look at, and to see if there were any PCO's with my name on them (seen one in my Ford pass app in the past just couldn't remember the date).
  9. So I'm guessing there is a delay between when my dealer ordered the truck and when the order shows up in the USOB, or did the customer service rep on the phone not actually look at the visibility reporting system? Just trying to make sure I didn't start off my ordering process with a hiccup, although I'm sure since I have the confirmation email and order code from my dealer (Granger) its probably fine.
  10. How long after ordering does your order show up to Ford? I ordered my F-250 Tremor on 2/10 and got the email from Ford, as well as a order code. I was on the phone with Ford marketing today asking about PCO and asked her to check on my order out of curiosity to see if anything had shown up yet and she said she can’t see anything in her system but to try again in a few days since it was so soon since ordering.
  11. Swirls are just straight line scratches or defects that are "bent" or reflected in a light source, they just appear circular that way. There are some paints that are harder and more resistant to defects than other paint and wont show scratches or swirls as bad. For the most part if you want to avoid scratches or damage to the paint finish of your vehicle the best step is to just wash as little as possible and when you do wash make sure its done correctly. Thats not always practical however, so there are some level of swirls and scratches that are always present. My personal vehicles, I have an acceptable small level of swirl marks I notice on them that it's not worth chasing and removing every few months, but I dont let it get to a level where the reflection or depth of the paint is compromised.
  12. Cloth strips still cause swirls. Swirl marks are caused by improper washing which would be a cloth strip in a car wash. Even with the perfect wash system (2 bucket method, foam first, rinse etc) you can induce swirl marks. The issue in a auto car wash isnt the strips or brushes themselves, its the fact that they aren't cleaned after each use and have dirt from 40,000 previous cars on them grinding into your paint. Each car that goes in a auto wash isnt rinsed correctly first hand, so grit transfer is an issue. Swirls are pretty easily corrected if needed and you may not care about them. For keeping a vehicle long term, correcting the paint multiple times will cause thinning of the paint layer over time which will lead to clear coat failure.
  13. I've noticed alot of recent orders in the past month have already gotten VIN #'s and build dates, what change do I have of ordering 2/10/2022 of getting the truck (pending no delays with my options) earlier than the estimated 6-9 months?
  14. Unfortunately a easy way to keep the truck clean without damaging the paint in some capacity are exclusive to each other. Now minimal damage corrected easily can be achieved, but thats a known risk. I'm in construction and don't always have time for a proper wash on my truck, so I foam it with my power washer and rinse which does a decent job. I really try not to run through a brush wash, but it may get done once or twice a year when its really bad. In the case I do a brush auto wash, I always power wash the truck myself first to make sure its as dirt and grit free as possible.
  15. I read on the super duty ordering group on FB from what looked to be a Ford employee that the trucker blockade is directly causing shift's at the plant to lay off because they cant get materials. I get the strike though, I'm willing to keep waiting if need be.
