I currently have a F250 Lariat Ultimate with BAP w/ a few other things on order. I'm contemplating dropping the BAP (assuming it's still a culprit holding up builds) for the Sport Apperance Package to see if it speeds me up any. I'd rather not have to drop it as I really dislike chrome but I guess I could always get the badges, headlight surrounds and whatever else painted later. I could careless if it has a bedliner as it could be done anywhere local but of course it can't be dropped being part of the package. If anyone has any pictures of your Lariats with the Sport Apperance Package, particularly in carbonized gray I would greatly appreciate seeing them. I'm not sure what other models, if any, offer the SAP to ask. Most of my Google searches just turn up trucks with the BAP. Thanks

Possible color change while I still can......

Thank you -
I saw those as well but not sure how well they work. My foremans buddy owns a car audio shop so I'm going to go by there one day and see if he has any ideas. If not I might just have to go the route everyone else has and do a tablet. Rather have some sort of DVD player to utilize the 9 million DVDs my kid has ?. We use the entainment center in my wife's car every time we go somewhere.

I've watched a ton of his videos. That's the first place I saw the carbonized gray and what set me on it. I'll have to go back and look through for the antimatter in his videos. That's what I'm afraid of. That I won't like it when the blue isn't showing through. That and keeping it clean, which my current truck is blue but man do they look good when they're clean. -
22 F250 Lariat 7.3 with BAP in CarboGray(may change to Antimatter)..... -- Tremor Valance -- 4" BDS lift -- 37x13.50s, undecided on brand -- 22x12s, either Arkon Mandelas in satin black or Vrock Anvils in gloss black -- drop hitch -- weather mats -- window tint -- vent visors -- retrax bedcover -- train horn with quick connect air fitting cut in to run air hose -- AMP power steps -- exhaust -- would like some sort of behind seat sub box -- need to find some back seat entertainment for the kids ......And the future list will go on ?

That's the one. They definitely show the scrachtes which is why I opted to try something different than I normally do but that blue is drawing me in. I hear you on that. Would definitely have to have a good cleaning regiment for it. Was hoping someone had a nice lifted one with BAP I could l look at. -
I have a 22 F250 Lariat with BAP on order in carbonized gray that I plan on putting a 4" lift on. I've never noticed how many in carbonized gray were around until I started this process and wait. I'm contemplating a change to antimatter blue while I still can. I'm no stranger to blue as my current truck (Titan) is a dark blue but noting like the antimatter. What do yall think? I'd really appreciate pics if anyone has antimatter blue with a lift and/or BAP. Google searches have turned up a bunch of generic pics along with mostly stock trucks. I can't go wrong either way. Just looking to make my own decision tougher ?.

You're correct on there being no substitute for in person. Thats why I cant decide between two wheels I have picked out. Thankfully a local dealership had a 21 that was leveled on 37s and a coworker has a 20 with a 6" lift. There's a local shop that is a BDS dealer and I was already looking at them because of the ability to customize a bit. Ended up with a 4" radius arm lift from them. Upgraded a few things in kit so I walked away with a little dent in the pocket. Could have been worse though. If I was local to you and actually had mine I'd offer you a peak but ?.

Depends on what kind of coin you want to spend or if it matters. Sorry I can't help with personal pics, only know what I've seen online and in person. Both look great in my opinion, especially with 37s stuffing the wheel wells. I currently have a 4" lift sitting in my building waiting on my 250 to be built. I have a 3 year old and a new one on the way in June, along with the wife being short like yours so we'll see how it goes getting all of them in and out. Practical...? we shall see ?. I'll make it work though because it's always something I've wanted to do and never been able too.

I've got a tremor valance already sitting in my building. Just a need the truck to put it on. ?♂️

Thank you very much. -
I have a seal for the tailgate area with my current cover. I'm sure there's something similar for the retrax. Thanks for the info.

Ohh I like those tinted lenses. I'll definitely keep an eye out for how they hold up for you. -
I went with carbonized gray after debating on star white that i saw on a king ranch expedition but man that rapid red is a good looking choice as well.
-
How has it performed for you? Worth the money?
-
I'll have to keep an eye out for that. Thanks.

That's what I'm afraid of. Might be something I'll have to experiment with once I get mine.

I did read that. It would be a little compromise I would have to make. I'm stepping up from the 5.5ish foot bed on my current truck to the 6 3/4 bed on the 250 so I'll still be gaining a little bed and at least it has a little space underneath it. I looked at the tri folds but I don't like the fact of having it stand up in front of the rear glass to have access to the entire bed, blocking the rear glass and just having the few postions to open it up. I have a while so its still up for debate though. Thanks for the insight though.

I searched the forum but didn't see much unless I just searched it wrong, which is a good possibility. I plan to run 37×13.50s with a 4" lift when I receive my 22 F250. I'm curious as to what the largest spare is anyone has managed to make fit under the truck? I was curious as to if I could squeeze an aired down 37 underneath? When I do my horn install I'll have a quick counnect cut in to be able to run an air hose, so airing it back up anywhere wouldn't be an issue. Just hate thr thought of not having a spare and if worse comes to worse I'll just throw a spare in the bed when we go on trips.

I don't actually have my F250 yet but the rear sliding window that only a toddler could fit through puzzles me. I'm use to the full rear glass rolling down (Toyota) or currently on my Nissan a thirdish of it rolls down. It seems as if will make looking in the rearview when open a little awkward but I could be wrong.

I have one of those soft, roll up cover on my current truck ( 07 Titan), never had an issue out of it. Though the sides are slowly starting to pull up. I'm thinking about the Retrax Pro MX when I get my 250 (whenever that may be). They're a pretty penny, but from what I've read and videos I've watched they seem to be a good investment. You can lock it in place anywhere along the rail you'd like.
