  1. Almost 8 months later, but so worth the wait. Hope everyone else gets to enjoy their pickups sooner than that!
  2. THANK YOU! It still is hard to believe it is finally at the dealer. We drove up to see it yesterday to make sure it was real and that we weren’t dreaming. We didn’t get to drive it home since they are going to install a bumper grille guard, so hopefully that gets done first part of the week and we can take the beauty home! we’re so thankful that the transport company got it there because our kids’ rodeo season starts in a week. Just in time…whew!
  3. That was a joke. Guess I should have added an emoji. ?
  4. Oh gosh! That is even more maddening than our situation. What reason would they have to not ship it after a month? Did your salesman give you a reason?
  5. I sure hope so, too! Hopefully you get some good news soon!
  6. Bumped again on delivery to the dealer to Friday, May 6. I’ve officially lost my patience with this when it takes 3 weeks to get a transport to pick up a fully built truck and drive it to the dealer. Ford should make exceptions with transport to allow outside contractors to pick these vehicles up since they are so backed up. Our dealer alone has 15 vehicles pending pickup. My brother-in-law would have trucked this pickup to the dealer two weeks ago. Special circumstances with backed up transporters should allow for special conditions for dealers to go and pick up their vehicles for their customers.
  7. A third bump on delivery to the dealership and we are scheduled for May 2nd now. We’ve had more bumps throughout this order process than a mile of washboard gravel road. Have a great weekend everyone!
  8. Thank you for providing these voluntary updates to so many of us over the years. It’s disappointing that Ford is letting you go like this since they are losing a huge customer service benefit that you provided freely. The goodwill that you brought to the company is invaluable and it’s sad that the person who made the decision didn’t recognize the enormous value you were providing. Hopefully this turns out to be a situation for you where when one door closes an even better one opens and you go on to find an amazing opportunity! All the best!
  9. It’s the Union Pacific Railyard 9900 I-76 Service Road in Henderson, CO off of. I sure hope you get your pickup this week. Ours was supposed to be delivered last Sunday, so hopefully they come through tomorrow. Maybe ours will be on the same transport and we will both be rolling in our new wheels this weekend. Otherwise maybe we can come up with a plan to bust our pickups out of jail together! Haha!
  10. Visited the rail yard where our pickup is at somewhere for the second time this week hoping to get a look at it. It’s been a month to the day that it was built on 3/28. It’s been sitting at the rail yard since 4/17. There are probably 20 transports loaded and just sitting there. It was supposed to be delivered to the dealer on Sunday, but no go. Hopefully it gets delivered tomorrow as expected. ?
  11. We received an email from the transporter with a “load” receipt including our pickup and a bronco, but the pickup has not arrived at the dealer yet. I thought that receipt meant it was loaded and being hauled direct to the dealer. But, that was Tuesday evening and it has not arrived yet to the dealer just a few hours away. So, do they take the pickup to a staging area and then consolidate the vehicles onto a larger transport and wait until they have a bigger load to take to the dealer?
  12. Yes, but call me lazy because it defaults to adaptive cruise and in my car you have to go through several screens to change to regular cruise. Since we don’t plan on using it we thought we would save the money and the wear and tear on our fingers switching it every time. ?
  13. I have adaptive cruise control on my 2012 Ford Edge and I like it, but have noticed some issues like you talk about, too. Mainly it shuts down hard when passing semis in the fast lane. Since we are going to be hauling horses mainly with our F350 we decided against getting it in our pickup so that it doesn’t unexpectedly hit the brakes hard and throw our horses down in the trailer.
  14. Thanks! I think it might be rolling on a transport to the dealer right now. I saw a tip on here about signing up for transport receipts and I received an email that it was loaded last night. Maybe we'll get it this week!
  15. Thanks for the quick response and I appreciate all of your insight that you share on this forum. It makes it easier to be patient when we have more information as to why things are the way they are. Sounds like it’s back to the waiting room for us. At least we know it is built and we are close to the finish line.
