May 19th, 2022, no update, still in ‘order confirmed’. Going on 4 months of nothingness.

I had ordered an Expy Max with SPP in early January of this year. After 6 months of being in “Order Confirmed” status, my Ford sales representative told me it was not likely that my order would be built in the 2022 model year, but they have a different Expy on the lot for $10,000 over MSRP. That offer led me to search ford dealer listings of a available Expy’s. I am happy to report that I am the new owner of a 22 Expy Timberline that was built in April 22, and it was listed below MSRP. Funny how Ford sent premium builds to dealers for resale while customer orders sit and wait l. Secondly, my Expy came fully built out. No controls were removed such as 2nd row AC controls or 360 camera. Those of you still waiting, keep searching dealer supplies and maybe you too can skip the ever lengthening order process.

That’s not how x-plan works. It’s a friends and family program. I received my pin from a retired Ford employee. The retired employee is the one who generates the pin. I am just the lucky recipient.

I am now 6 days from 90 days of status being ‘order confirmed’.

Must be Henry Ford holdouts, customers can have any color they want as long as it’s black.

Ordered Limited Max, Star White, Stealth Performance Package on 01/21/2022 after a retired Ford neighbor convinced me of Ford superiority over anything GM or Wagoneer. I was most appreciative of placing an order with a local dealer via the X-Plan order system and received an order confirmation email from Ford (the link to view my order online in that email no longer functions. Received the secondary email that my order status remains at “received” On March 18, 2022. That link still works and as of April 3, I my status remain at “order received”. As of today, I am not scheduled for production, let alone built or shipped. I feel like this is a strange test of patience.
