  1. Hello everyone, I took delivery of my truck on Saturday, everything cleaned up well, however, the door/hood gaps will need to be addressed. This is an ongoing problem at KTP, during assembly. My timeline is as follows: Ordered 01/25 Scheduled 05/14 Built 06/21 Released for shipping 06/23 Sat idle no holds, Shelbyville, KY Ramp 8P 06/23-09/10 (79 Days) Arrived Kansas City NS Voltz yard Ramp CA6P 09/15 Arrived dealership 10/05 (20 days from ramp arrival) Accepted vehicle 10/08. (256 days from order to delivery) Good luck to everyone, I know this process has been frustrating for many members.
  2. His post inferred he was paying $275, in addition to the X-plan price which includes the $275.
  3. $275 X-plan fee?? I've never heard of an X-plan fee. Sounds like dealer add-on BullS@#t!. I would insist on that being removed from the final deal.
  4. For those that may have their truck on the same train, here is an update of Norfolk Southern car TTGX985818: Arrived St Louis 09/14, 04:15 Departed St Louis 09/15, AM hours Ferguson, MO 11:30 AM Wentzville, MO 12:30 PM Clifton Hills, MO 5:30 PM Arrived Norfolk Southern Voltz yard Ramp CA6P Kansas City, MO 8:30 PM. (Also known as the Birmingham yard) Now, how long will it take to be unloaded/loaded for final delivery to a dealership 24 miles north?
  5. I've been able to track the status of rail car TTGX985818, using the Norfolk Southern automated Intermodal telephone line providing the following updates: 09/09, 12:00 AM, Shelbyville, MC Ramp 8P 09/10, 8:00 AM Louisville, KY 09/11, 8:00 AM West of Louisville, KY (exact location inaudible) 09/12, 8:30 PM Princeton, IN Finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel since my rig sat at Shelbyville Ramp 8P since 06/23.
  6. I just received the following information from Ford Chat regarding my Truck that's been sitting at Shelbyville Ramp 8P since 06/23/2022: The vehicle arrived at Shipped Rail - Railcar # TTGX985818 (Norfolk Southern Corp ) on Ramp 8P, in Shelbyville Mc, KY on 9/8/2022. The vehicle is expected to be delivered by 9/30/2022. Hopefully no more push backs on delivery.
  7. My rig has been bumped for shipping 5 times since 06/23, with the most recent email received 09/06, listing new anticipated delivery date of 09/15, to 09/21. YA RIGHT!!!!!
  8. The transition from Allied Systems Holdings Inc, to Jack Cooper, has only exacerbated the problem.
  9. My rig is being shipped to Dave Littleton Ford in Smithville. I worked at Ford KC Assembly for 15 years prior to accepting a buy out. I learned that when trucks are sent to the rail ramps, they are staged together without any regard for retail vs. stock in the order received. This is the reason some trucks ship almost immediately and others like ours just sit awaiting transport. Dealers can request a hot ship from the final ramp, but it rarely makes any impact.
  10. My F250 SCSB STX FX4 7.3 3:55 Antimatter Blue was built 06/22/2022, has been sitting Shelbyville Ramp 8p to present. Original delivery estimate was 07/15/2022, to 07/21/2022. Delivery estimate pushed to 08/09/2022, to 08/15/2022. Delivery estimate pushed to 08/24/2022, to 08/30/2022. Delivery estimate pushed to 09/05/2022, to 09/11/2022. Delivery estimate pushed to 09/11/2022, to 09/15/2022. Being shipped to Kansas City area dealer. Starting to become absolutely ridiculous!
  11. Did you order from the dealership starting with Max?????
  12. Calm down? I never stated I was excited, just annoyed!
  13. UPDATE: Received email 07/19/2022, at approximately 10:30 PM, stating delivery window in now 08/09/2022, to 08/15/2022. I'm starting to get annoyed as the truck was built 06/21/2022, and has been sitting in Shelbyville, KY Ramp 8p, since 06/22/2022. My luck the truck will arrive after 08/13/2022, while I'm in Punta Cana until the 21st!
  14. As a former Ford employee of the Kansas City Assembly Plant, I can tell you every plant in the US has shut down the first two weeks of July since the 1982 contract; however, there have been exceptions over the years to the exact weeks plants shut down. The shut down is for plant maintenance, but most importantly for vacation shutdown, as Ford does not practice a calendar leave program for non seniority employees.
  15. The actual production day for your schedule week is available via the Vehicle Visibility Report (VVR). Your In-Production date will appear on the tracker the day your truck moves from paint to the trim line. Typically, a truck takes approximately 3 days to move from body shop, paint, trim, chassis, and final inside the plant.
