  1. Thanks for the information, it is helpful to all of us. This is my take on things. Although there is frustration with Ford on the consumer's part, I believe Ford is doing everything possible to build all of the trucks that have been ordered. The delays are out of Ford's control. So we shouldn't blame them for that. That being said, price protection for existing orders is within Ford's control; even if some of the orders carry over to 2023 models. I am optimistic that Ford will do the right thing for the customer; after all many of us....probably most of us....will be buying more vehicles in the future. Once all this craziness is a over, we will all consider how we were treated when we make our future purchases.
  2. My dealer told me that my truck would be built. He stated that Ford was going to build 22 model super duties until later in the year, maybe as late as December.
  3. Beautiful truck....love the 2 tone. There should be a sticker in the driver's door showing exactly which springs you have.....at least that is where I have seen it before.
  4. Thanks,. Mine is also an XL with STX pkg, fifth wheel prep, and spray in bed liner.
  5. Thanks...much appreciated. Can I ask when you ordered? Mine was ordered on 2/14.....no progress yet, just order confirmation.
  6. Does anyone here have a 2022 CCSB F250 4x4 with 7.3 has engine and camper package? This is what I ordered and I am curious on which front springs it will have. I have read a bunch of posts here and still not sure what to expect. I am guessing either 5200 or 5600 springs. I saw one on the lot that had both camper pkg and snow plow prep pkg and it had 5600 springs; it was tall, hoping mine will be a little lower. I am wanting the truck as low as possible for better clearance for my fifth wheel. Thanks.
  7. Yeah..... remember the old 3 on the tree......loved driving those old trucks. Can't imagine 10 speed.
  8. I checked with my dealer today. My order has a status of unscheduled/clean. Does this mean that there are no restrictions on my order? Or does it mean that there have been no attempts to schedule it yet? I am just trying to figure out if it is good news that it is "clean" or does that really mean anything.
  9. I would like individual options instead of everything being in a package. It would be nice to get the sway bar without having to get the camper package that also adds stiffer springs on the f250. I would also like to be able to select front springs to taylor the ride quality and ride height. Bucket seats and console on lower trim packages would be nice also.
  10. I too am in limbo. I don't have a lot of confidence that my truck will be built. It would really be a bad situation to wait 6 months or more just to find out that it won't be built and you either have to start all over or cut your losses and move on to another brand.
  11. It looks like some folks are being scheduled for production on days other than Thursdays. Does this mean that the bulk of the scheduling occurs on Thursday and then the random scheduling fills in the gaps?
  12. Yeah, it will test our patience for sure. Waiting would not be so bad if I knew for sure the truck would be built. It would be a hard pill to swallow to wait 6 months or more and then have to start all over at a higher price
  13. I was at a Ford dealer on Saturday just looking around. A nice sales lady came out and during our conversation, she mentioned that Ford is going to be shipping a lot of unfinished vehicles to dealers lots to free up room. She said that these vehicles could not be sold until they were completed at a later date. Just thought it was interesting.
