  1. That’s my experience as well. The issue is that I have no idea when it is in that cycle, so consequently I have no indication whether or not to continue driving to let it complete that cycle. In city driving, I do not always travel longer distance/time that would allow a full regen, therefore my DPF will continue building layers of “soot” and I’ll lose efficiency and eventually lose capacity. I don’t want to be forced to take my truck to the dealer to have it cleaned. I'm glad I’m not the only one who has not seen any indication. I thought I was just missing something.
  2. How can I tell when my 2022 F250 is going into or is in DPF Regen?!? I’ve got 10885 miles and have NO clue if or when my truck went into regen! I’ll try again to change my settings with FORscan. I didn’t have any luck the first time… Thanks in advance for answering a question that I’m sure has been asked/answered before. I obviously didn’t have the correct search terms…
  3. I did set one up, but it’s not set up for the trailer backup assist piece. It asked for a sticker to placed on the trailer, but I don’t know what stickers it talked about.
  4. I’m scratching my head over this one. I’m hoping someone has a fix or at least a valuable explanation. I was pulling my small trailer and wanted to make sure things were ok back there. I clicked on my rear camera view and got the following view. I could NOT figure out how to remove that stupid banner from the screen! Someone please tell me there’s a way to get it to disappear. I really want to be wrong on this one.
  5. All of your points and info is what I’ve been considering. I’ve been looking for another 5th wheel that fits closer into the weight limits. With that said, I know there’s a safety factor built into all ratings, so if I’m 10% or so over the limit, I can live with that. I can also load my contents to help balance the load. I appreciate your input. It helps.
  6. You’ve summed up the info I’ve been gathering from many people (not RV dealers lol). I have weighed my truck, and because of the additions I’ve made, it has gained about 500 lbs…which really cripples pin weight capability. That includes my wife and I, but not my fifth wheel hitch. I’m pushing about 2000 lbs now. If we weren’t looking for a full time rig, it would be easier to find something within those limits. The tough pill to swallow is the fact that there are a couple rigs that are just beyond the legal limit on cargo but not over limit on GCVWR. I’m trying to get an idea what, if any, leeway there is on cargo capacity. it sounds like a ton of people are in the same boat. You did say something I hadn’t confirmed…which is where you load your weight and how it affects pin weight. I’ve asked, but nobody commits to an answer. ? Thanks!
  7. I need help understanding why my 22 SD has a payload capacity of 2543 but the Rear Axle Weight rating is 6340. I’m looking at a 5th wheel with a hitch weight of 2709, but the I’ll be within the GCVWR of 23500. What is the consequence of going over my payload cap, and are there any other things I should be aware of and approach with caution? 2022 F250 w/o upgraded towing package
  8. Before swapping to my 60 gallon S&B tank last weekend, I calculated 16.8 mpg when the truck showed 17.7 with mostly city / rural type driving. My other tank was all freeway and I calculated 17.9 when the truck showed 18.4. I don’t think it’s worth adjusting the truck’s calculation for less than one mile per gallon. I’ve got my Banks Pedal Monster and will start using it more often. I love that thing!! I just didn’t want to use it while I was calculating mpg.
  9. That’s exactly what I’ve been doing. It does work well. I just wanted to make sure the sensors weren’t left off.
  10. Ok good to know! Thanks for the clarification guys!
  11. I have the KRU package. I’ll ask my dealer why I don’t have it. Thanks.
  12. Weather tech mats Banks Pedal Monster (still tuning) B&W hitch I have 1 1/2” springs to install once it stops raining around here… Im scheduled to have window tint done, bed liner sprayed Ive ordered my S&B 60 gallon fuel tank im still deciding on whether or not I will replace my tires now or wait until I upgrade to a 4” lift once these Michelins need replaced. still have Ranch Hand bumpers, bed cover and other little things to do.
  13. I thought I had a good grasp of the features on my truck, but one thing slipped by me.. Is anyone else surprised there are no parking aid sensors in the front of the truck? I thought they were in both the front and rear bumpers. it’s not a big deal since I can just use my camera, but it’s just one of things that I didn’t know about my truck. Just wondering if I’m alone.
