  1. I was under the assumption as well that when your VIN shows up, it would be scheduled within the newly scheduled weeks of production. However that didn't seem to be the case with mine. Escape PHEV, ordered on Apr 19th. Showed up on dealers website with Vin May 13th, when late July was being scheduled. Contacted my dealer a week later, and was told it's been scheduled for the June 12th week. Fingers crossed, It'll be built in two weeks and I'll have a window sticker and estimated delivery date.
  2. Not usually no. Only place I've seen a mask was in a paint spray repair booth before covid. Usually the car bodies are either dipped, or sprayed by robots in ventilated booths, no workers present. Honestly I liked the masks for the fact my lungs didn't feel full of crap by the end of a week after being in either body or trim buildings. But If you work there full time, you might not realize it.
  3. I think just some confusion between initially scheduled to build date, and when it actually gets built due to various delays. I'm good just knowing it got scheduled for this year. I was scared it was going to get rolled over to 2023. Realized I got the month numbers wrong, and it's likely late July for production, plus whatever delays.
  4. Ordered an Escape PHEV here in Canada mid April. Last Friday I noticed on my dealers website a vehicle show up matching my order, so I tried it's VIN and my order number on the Ford Canada order tracking site. The combo worked and It showed the order as confirmed, but no estimated production date yet. If I understand the process right, since there is a VIN now, it's been scheduled? And would that most likely be in the last two weeks of August that just got scheduled that Friday?
  5. Almost wish I didn't read this thread. I ordered a Titanium Escape PHEV one week after the $1,250 dollar price increase. And they already increased the price from last year by moving things out of the standard trim, and into the premium package.
  6. Does Escape HEV cutoff also apply to the PHEV? The dealer I spoke with in Ontario last month told me orders for the PHEV had been closed, but then re-opened. He put in an order around April 20th, and gave me an order number. I asked about the cut-off date, but said that was the one that was extended. I'm really hoping to get a PHEV in my hands this year for tax reasons.
