  1. I have a 2022 Lariat 4X4 can I put chains on all four tires, I did on my 2020 Ranger and didn't have any problems but wanted to check and see if anyone knew if it was OK to do it on my 2022 as well. I checked the owners manual and it says put tire chains on the rear tires like most people would being they only buy one set. I'll be using the Les Schwab quick fit tire chains.
  2. Thanks, I checked that option too and math proved that too, even if the Chip My Car did give me a few more mpg it would take over a year to get my money back on it. I really think it comes down to smart driving and proper tire inflation, driving the speed limit I've had my mpg all the way up to 26 mpg, it would be cool to see if I could get it up to 30 mpg but I don't want to damage the engine trying using a tuner.
  3. I have a 2022 Ranger Lariat FX4, I'm getting around 22 mpg which is pretty good overall. I haven't done any Mods on it except put on a ARE canopy. Was wondering if any one has tried any tuner programs to help improve mpg. I know the most common things to do, proper tire inflation, proper maintenance and don't carry around extra weight. I know some of the tuners will void the warranty but some brands say they won't, like Chip My Car which could improve horsepower up to 60 hp and up to 5 more mpg . Has anyone tried or knows someone that has any tuners. I'm only wanting to improve mpg and not trying to turn my Ranger into a race truck. 90% of my driving is Hwy until I get to the mountains and then mostly just Soft Roading. Any thoughts or suggestions on tuners or improving fuel mileage would be appreciated.
  4. Great news, and thanks for the update, I'm glad it finally showed up, even the dogs seem to like it. I have 1800 miles on mine so far and no problems and loving it. Next February I'll be driving it to Arizona and I'll be putting about 3000 miles on it so that will be fun. I wonder if delaware has got his Ranger yet. By the way I love your driveway too (nice).
  5. Has anyone tried connecting their Garmin InReach to the Ford SYNC 3, I have the Ford Connect, and the AT&T WIFI all set up. I was hoping to be able to connect our InReach to the SYNC 3 Navigation or the AT&T phone number assigned to the WIFI. If it can’t be done we’ll just connect the InReach to a Smart phone and call it good. I do a lot of Basecamp camping while my daughter hikes trails and using InReach we can stay in touch. I’m not very tech savvy but were going to try and figure it out this weekend and any ideas or comments would be helpful. I think I’ll need to download the Earthmate App on my SYNC 3 if possible.
  6. I couldn't decide where to add it to the Ranger section so hopefully it's OK I add it here. Here are the after pic’s of my Ranger, I added the ARE Canopy, Fender Flares, Bug Guard and the Tailgate Lettering, not seen is the inside Tailgate cover, Tailgate Damper and the Bed Mat. In a few weeks I’ll put on the Door Rocker Panels. I know my lighting wasn’t good when I took these pictures but it is Cactus Gray, at least in low light and more like Cactus Green in full sunlight. My last Ranger was a 2020 XL 4X4 with the 100A package, this one is the Lariat, FX4, Black Appearance Package and the 501A Package. I really liked and was impressed with my 2020 and now I’m really liking this Lariat with all the extras. I’m sure glad Ford brought the Rangers back to the USA being my full size pickup days are past me now, these new Rangers are the right size for me now.
  7. Almost done adding the accessories to my Ranger I got about two weeks ago. I'm going to try and attach the after pic's in the Ranger section if anyone wants to check them out. Thanks again to everyone on the BOF that helped me through this ordering process, and the Ford employees that built my Ranger.
  8. Update, I got my Ranger the other day and in a couple weeks I'll try and post some before and after pictures when I get the accessories put on. Any updates on your rigs yet, Ford4Me2 or delaware.
  9. Not yet, last week I tracked it across the US to Portland Oregon, it's sitting at the Auto Warehouse at the shipping yard, so it's about 25 miles away from me now. Hopefully next week I'll get. I'll post when I get it. I'm not very tech savvy but I'll try and post a picture of it when I get done adding the accessories. Have you had any luck yet logging onto the Ford Vehicle Tracking site?
  10. Good to see your still around Ford4Me2, that Scheduling Week Info. got me at first too, I read all the post in that section and finally figured it out but if you don't over think it like I did at first, it is what it is, just like Ice-capades and akirby stated. Being you have a build date you should be good now. After I got my build date just keep an eye on the Ford Vehicle Tracking site and a few days before your build date they will post your Window sticker or in the Window Sticker section just before your build date you can ask Ice-capades to see if it's available. Hang in there, your almost there.
  11. You need to use the Order Code, I bet it will work now. let us now. My sales code also starts with a "F" my order code starts with a "D" and three numbers.
  12. Ford4Me2....I've been using that site to follow my Ranger the whole time and haven't had any problems. Are you trying the (Ford Vehicle Ordering Tracking) site or a different site? As long as you enter the dealer (Order Code) and the VIN# it should at least tell you the current status. Maybe, double check your paperwork and make sure the Order code is correct and the VIN#. Maybe someone else on the forum has some ideas too you can try. Let us know if you get it figured out.
  13. Thanks for the phone number I'll check it out. When I have my dealer check the VVR I'll compare the ETA's. I'll let you know when I get the information. Update, just called Ford CS and they gave me an ETA of August 3rd, so as I mentioned in my last post that's about what I expected for my area, if all goes good.
  14. At least now you have your VIN#, build date and ETA. I never got any emails from Ford on my Ranger being my email wasn't entered at the beginning correctly and still don't have a ETA on mine yet, but it's supposed to be getting shipped soon and then I'll keep in touch with my sales person and the Ford Tracking site, other Rangers have been getting delivered to my dealer in about 3or 4 weeks after being built so hopefully that will hold up for mine too.
  15. Just when I thought I could live with a 5' bed, now maybe next year I'll have to upgrade again. Ford sure knows how to keep me on the hook.
