So after 102 days after the last "45 day" email from Ford on January 29th, I got this one late last night. Had my hopes up when I saw an email finally arrive from Ford. But it's the same diatribe and my hopes were quickly dashed. Ordered on 10/28/22, priority code at 10.

What is your order date?
-
I'm with you on that. I got the same emails as you did on those dates. Then nothing since. I sure didn't expect to get my truck any time before the summer of '23 when I ordered on 10.28.22. But when someone says the word "promise", you sort of expect them to hold to it. My only hope is that the reason is that perhaps scheduling for my truck will happen soon and therefore they figured no need to send an email. But I'm sure that's just me pretending to not be pissed off at Ford. Still no update "as promised" now for 61 days and counting.

Ordered my F350 Platinum on 10/28/22. On December 15th, I received the email from Ford saying "Now here’s our promise to you. We know that waiting for delivery of your Ford is far less fun than actually driving it. So, we commit to updating you as soon as we can, at least once every 45 days regarding your vehicle’s production schedule status. No matter what." On January 29th, I got that 45 day email update as promised. So with that being the last email I've seen from them which is now 50 days ago, I guess I can officially say that Ford broke their promise. Imagine that.

Me and my brother-in-law ordered SD's on the same opening day for orders. I received an order confirmation email from Ford 2 days later, he did not. His issue was that the salesperson had her email address on the order instead of his and she actually received the order confirmation email. She fixed it on the order and he did get the 45 day update email notification from Ford like most others have received. I would make sure that your email address is entered correctly on the order, etc.

Excellent explanation!

There has been a bit of discussion about this topic. I initially believed that all KR, Plat, and Limited trim levels should receive priority code 99 per the order guide. After my order for a Platinum had a priority code of 19 on it, I've re-read that section on page 2 of the order guide a few times. And honestly, I personally read it to mean only Job 1 orders that include those features available starting with Job 2 need to have priority code 99 applied on the order. My reasoning is that the section is broken into 2 bullet points. The first speaking about the trim levels......no mention of priority code 99 needing to be assigned. The second bullet point speaking about the features.....then it mentions priority code 99 should be assigned. This is simply my interpretation, combined with my order confirmation email I got from Ford. Others may interpret this a different way, but I'm reading that as 2 separate bullet points. I guess I'll find out for sure in about 6-14 months, lol.

Correct.....It says "Since we're building this 2023 Super Duty F-350 Platinum just for you, we'll be keeping in touch...", etc.

I received a confirmation email from Ford for my F350 Platinum order. The dealer submitted it with a priority code 19. They of course should have submitted it with priority code 99 but since I have the confirmation email from Ford, I haven't said anything to them about it.

So I did in fact get an order confirmation email from Ford, even though it is Platinum trim level.
-
I also got my confirmation email from Ford yesterday (Sunday). Order placed on Thursday the 27th but I think it was actually submitted on Friday the 28th.

Put my order in yesterday for an F350 Platinum. Since this is a higher trim and will be pushed to Job 2, does anyone know if I should receive an order confirmation email within the same timeframe as everyone else putting in orders right now?

I'm coming over from the F150 Platinum with a new F350 on order. Not sure if the SD's are the same, but they changed the F150's ventilated seats from "blowing" to "sucking" a couple of years back. If you put a piece of paper on the seat, you can confirm if they are sucking or blowing. But regardless, I feel like the "sucking" method really does suck!
