  1. That wait was the nail in the coffin for my 2022 order that my dealer finally told me would definitely roll over to 2023 and was still waiting for parts. I was depending on the tax credit plus discounts to make it affordable and what I would get was all up in the air. In the meantime, I discovered the Kia Niro. Smaller but the same fuel efficiency but about 10,000$ cheaper. I bought one with the same options as my ford order yesterday. I would have stayed for the Ford if I had any timeline for getting it and more information about what tax credits and price protections. But I lost faith in the process and am so glad to be out of it. My Dealer essentially treated me like a mushroom. Looking forward to picking up my Kia in about 2 weeks. Anyone in Florida who is looking for a retail PHEV check with the Ford dealer in Ocala. A blue SEL with the Moonroof and tow package. Thanks to everyone on this forum for the best info I could get anywhere and especially IceCapades whose production posts are gems that are often quoted on the other two forums I have used to try and figure out what was going on. Good luck to all of you and I hope you get your dream cars!
  2. First, much thanks to IceCapades for posting the weekly production schedules. I know it is time-consuming but it is also a real lifeline for those of us still waiting for VINs and build dates. My question is about the Ford escape production info just posted today. I see that the build dates are the same as those available to be scheduled last week. I assume this means there are not very many spots left to schedule and my hopes for getting my Mar 21 PHEV order this year are almost gone. I am just asking for confirmation of this, and wondering when Ford will roll my order over to a 2023. I see scheduling for 2023 starts on 10/20. Is that when it would happen or do I need to wait longer than that? TY
  3. Looking at my original order I thought I had ordered a technology package that added safety features but I was mistaken. So it does not affect my order but it has disappeared.
  4. So I "built" my 22 order using this and it quoted a price about 2000 $ more. But some of the safety options I chose were not available, Does anyone know if they are now automatically included in the base trim or if they were moved to the premium trim?
  5. So you are saying that after 6 months of waiting, my dealer could change my 11 priority to 1 or 2? I guess it would be worth asking when I talk to them tomorrow. Does not seem like I got scheduled this week. But with an 11 priority maybe I should not expect to be scheduled this year.
  6. thanks for the clarifications on the 2023 PHEV order guide. Most of it is hard for me to decipher and I ma waiting on a call from my dealer to tell me my 2022 Escape PHEV order is scheduled or that I need to order a 2023. The scheduling info says they are still scheduling escapes this week so I guess I wait which puts me further down the list for 2023. I am ready to give up the whole process of trying to get a 2022 tax credit and possibly buy a 2022 or 23 Kia Niro PHEV instead. Looking for a road trip car and am worried the Niro would be too small. Any comparisons between the Escape and the Niro would be welcome.
