I like the color and the wheels but I agree that it doesn't need to say "60 years" in bold letters on the side.

We just upgraded the tires on my sisters Corsair from the stock 245/45R20 to 245/50R20 Toyo AT3s . No noticeable change in ride quality or noise. No scrubbing. It helps with all of us living on clay roads that get washed out after even a moderate rain. And they look absolutely fantastic on the car. They fill the wheel wells nicely and the small height difference is nice.
My mother’s 2021 Aviator will eventually be due for an upgrade too. Curious if going from stock 275/40R22 to 275/50R22 AT3s would be doable. I looked into 275/45 but Toyo doesn’t seem to offer that on the AT3s. -

Weren't there some coupes and sedans that were going to use CD6 at one point? It's such a shame those projects were canned.
Seems like it. Big shame.

Nice screen but the rest of the design doesn’t necessarily scream luxury. I think the Navigator, if it ever gets revealed, will do it better.

Not to go off topic, but since it was mentioned here, what are the odds that CD6 will ever be used for anything beyond the current Explorer/Aviator? Weren’t the original Edge/Nautilus redesigns going to utilize the platform? I wonder if there’s any regrets scrapping those since the EV delays.

Interesting find. I just watched a video of the Chinese 2025 Ford Edge. In the video showing clearly on screen was a complete Power Flow guage on the large center screen. Both the Ford Edge and the Lincoln Nautilus are the same platforms albeit the Edge is streched 7 inches for 3 row seating.
Unpopular opinion, but I have thought before that Nautilus should offer an optional third row. For people who may need the extra 2 seats occasionally but want a mid-size CUV not quite as big as the Aviator. I think it would be seen as a plus compared to others in the segment.

Here's hoping the new expy isn't mostly new and is all new
I hope so! The side panels didn’t look that much different in the spy shots so I’m hoping that was the camouflage.

It’s good to hear that they have a plan. Hope it works out well for them.

It’s a trend but I find it irritating that nearly every new vehicle has a full width tail light now.
-
Good. I just hope that means they’re working on something. Because what comes after the ‘25 Navigator?
-
Pretty much a larger version of the Acadia’s interior, which I surprisingly fancy. -
Ford did patent a split tailgate design a couple of years ago as seen here.
If they include it on the Expedition I think they might as well include it on the Navigator too. (Or make it optional on either)

It’s good to finally see something about the next Expy/Navi again. I’m sure this design direction will be much more appealing to many people. I do hope it is still differentiated enough from the Lincoln.

Rivian might have my favorite exterior designs out of everyone right now. Those are some damn fine looking SUVs.

Thank you! Any thought of offering subscriptions? The sites I am most active in disable ads if you are a subscriber. The site does seem fast!
Nice idea, but why not install an adblocker? It’s easy.

Looks good to me. The refreshed face is much much better in these photos than in those spy shots from a while back. I didn't expect the more rounded tablet screen. I do wish they did something with the rear, but overall great update.
Edit: Just noticed the new instrument cluster

Personally would prefer the Everest to come over and fill the role of the Edge, but the Evos works too.

According to Borg on GM Inside News, the only EV Lincoln is continuing development on at this point is the three row crossover.
He also said that a next generation ICE Aviator is in development along with the Explorer.

Well it’s pretty darn good looking for a little crossover. I like the squareness to it. I could see it appealing to both potential Escape and Bronco Sport buyers.
Standard equipment includes heated steering and seats and adaptive cruise control. Impressive.- 2
