  2. This is off an XLT, with standard output 6.7L PowerStroke.
  3. Another oddity is that if you add in the diesel, the photos show 3 exhaust outlets. The dual diesel, and the single gas. Hope they don't actually come with 3 outlets of 2 different finishes. LOL.

  5. As an FYI, it looks like Ford's Build website for the Super Duties got updated overnight. While the link for build a 2022 is still there, it takes you to the 2023's. The 2023's are now updated with more pictures, that actually change. The 8' bed is now shown on the Crew Cab SRW trucks, the Sport Grille is shown on the XLT, the Roof lights get added, and if you change from bench to console seating, it makes that adjustment as well. I think some things are still missing (12" inch screen with Premium Pkg on XLT for example), but it definitely has a lot more than it used too.

  7. In the 2022 order guide dated 3-15-21, page 16 in the Engine/Transmission area, Exhaust Brake is listed in the description for the 6.7 PowerStroke. It does mention the modes of use though. The exhaust brake is also listed in the same area of the 2023 order guide (dated 10-25-22), page 18, and is listed for both the 6.7 and 6.7 HO. Again, no mention of modes of use though. I also have a 2023 on order, and this will be my first diesel, so I've been researching this as well. From reading on the web, the Exhaust Brake "On" mode, will apply the exhaust brake whenever you let off the throttle pedal. The "Auto" mode (2 button presses), will attempt to hold the truck at the speed at which you let off the throttle. So for example, if you are approaching a long descent and know what speed you want to be at, slow to that speed, press the EB button twice (for Auto mode) and then let off the throttle. I also saw that the Exhaust Brake will not work if the motor is at or under 1300 rpm. Above 1300 rpm, the brake will provide varying degrees of assistance. The higher the rpm the greater "slowing" (I won't say stopping) power it will have. I'll be looking to try this out once I get the new truck. This information is from the 2022's, so I am assuming that the 2023's will be the same. Scott
  8. Thank you for sharing, I was able to track my 2023 order as well. I have a XLT on order with the Premium Pkg that includes the Power Mirrors. I do not see the mirrors listed individually on the tracking site, but if I click on the Package, it does still list the power mirrors. I also do not see Block Heater or Supplemental Cab Heater listed anywhere that we added on. Really hoping they don't get deleted. I don't see anything anywhere in my tracking list, that specifically says something was deleted. I would hope I get notification from Ford or my dealer if that is the case.

I know that the build times are all over the map because of the supply of parts, and I had heard that shipping was a little delayed from say 5 years ago, but I thought the shipping times were fairly consistent once a vehicle was complete. I will admit I've only recently started to pay attention to the times, since we now have a 2023 SD on order. Thanks again for the explanations.
  10. New member here, so I am sorry if this has been asked before, but is 3 months from Built to Shipped the typical time frame of a new vehicle delivery? I thought I had seen online that about 1 month from Built to Dealer was about average.
  11. Hello All. Long time Ford Fan here, who is currently driving his second Ram 1500, but waiting for an ordered 2023 F350 to be built. I've been reading through the Super Duty forum for a couple weeks now, and am looking forward to participating here. (Probably will be a lot of questions to start.) Right now, our family is limited on camper size due to the 1/2 ton without a high payload/towing package. The future 350 will be overkill for our current setup, but will let us upgrade to any size camper that we want to in the future.
