True about Ram. Not so much GMC. I spoke with two local GMC dealers in my area. Both told me that there were varying commodity constraints that change weekly and like Ford, the higher end truck you ordered, the more constraints you'd run into. They both were having a very hard time getting high trim orders picked up and told me it would be quite a wait if I ordered. One was a small family type place so perhaps allocation was in play but the other was one of the higher volume dealers in the state.

From what I read on FB and FTE, a lot of orders have been bumped to July as delayed gov contract orders got pushed up in front of retails.

For rail, get your rail carrier and car number from chat then track through the carrier.

Just in case anyone doesn't know... the dual alternator setup is different between the stand alone option and the PPO setup. The standard dual alts are both 12v. The duals that come with the PPO have one 12v and one 24v that is dedicated to the inverter. There are also two small batteries under the passenger side rear seat for the PPO.

The sport package deletes the power running boards that come with the ultimate. I'm guessing that would account for the discount? I just went to build and price to verify but it's down right now so I'm not 100% sure...

Most likely a multiple package discount... not a deletion of an option.

Yes, I realize that and that was the point of my post. Someone (or some ones in some dept.) at Ford made a mistake and confused LED back up lights with full LED tails and put the wrong info on the website and in the guide. It doesn't really matter to me though. If they come on and turn red when I apply pressure to the brake pedal, I'm fine with it.

LEDs in the tails is just a gimmick. No matter the light source, the red lens makes it look identical. I could care less what I have for tail lights to be honest. Headlights or any other white light source like reverse or fogs is a different story though...

My guess on the tails would be this. Lariats were never meant to get full LED for 2023. Just like they get the reflector LED headlights as opposed to projector. Someone at Ford, seeing that the reverse lights were LED, misrepresented the tails as a whole and now that the issue has been caught, Ford is removing mention of full LED tail lights from all literature and their website.

My wife's Lincoln has the seats. They are a novelty and were used a lot during the first week of ownership and haven't been since. However, when the F150 lost it's heated steering wheel for a bit a while back, I was thinking "no way" on taking my my 23 SD if it was deleted...

Dealers really have the best tracking system when they do a visibility report. They can track a built truck live on GPS and see where it is with Google sky view. I wish we had access to that!

I got mine from an email but Ford has slacked off on those so I would ask your dealer to keep an eye on your order # and let you know the VIN when they see it.

There is no rhyme or reason to it. Some are "in production" for over 2 months. Some have the status for just days...

26th here as well and my ETA is the 15th. My previous ETA was the March 21st so... ??
