I work for a small EMS department as a deputy chief. My chief has expressed interest in upgrading my County owned 2012 Impala to something newer. We have budgeted appropriately for this and the prices are all on state bid contract. My local upfitter has a huge backlog and my chief is still waiting for the upfit on his suburban that was delivered in January. No estimated date for installation. I think we are pretty well set on an interceptor utility because they’re dirt cheap on state bid, What I’m interested in is the factory upfit. There is almost no details about the manufacturer of the lighting equipment that is available from the factory. Local dealer was of no assistance, just sending me the same information available on ford’s website. They did mention some issues getting them ordered however. Edit: Forgot to mention, going with the explorer for an easy cage as we regularly transport psych patients that do not warrant an ambulance. Specifically what I am looking for is manufacturer of the various LED lighting packages
