Tried placing an order on 5/10. (XLT CCSB 7.3 4.30) Due to a communication error between myself/the salesman/the sales manager the order went in as a stock order. Spoke with the sales manager on Tuesday 5/23 and he redid the order as retail. Scheduled today, Thursday 5/25, for the week of 6/12. Received the scheduling email 9:05am today. Two days from order to scheduled!

First post here... Placed an order for a '23 F350 XLT CCSB 7.3 yesterday. I have heard that the order banks are closed for the higher trim level trucks and no fifth wheel prep after 5/2. Or tried to place the order. After "building" the truck with the sales rep he told us that the system would not let him order it as a retail order but he could order it as a dealer stock order. Does this sound "right"? Would this be due to an allocation issue? Would I be better off at a different dealer?
