Check again in the morning and see if it says shipped. Otherwise it got wrecked driving off the assembly line into the rail car! I’ve heard other see that happen on the tracker so don’t worry and ignore the wrecked driving off the assembly line joke.

Well my dealer said trucking company would give them 24 to 48 hours of advanced notice of shipping to dealer from rail yard.
no notice but after sitting at rail yard for 19 day, my tracking status just changed!!!
Dealer says 48 hours max for prep.
One previous purchase, the prep was done in 2 hours and front tires wore out quick due to insanely misaligned front end. Glad this different dealer spends the proper time for prep to check things like alignment.
F350 SRW, Rapid Red, 8ft bed, Lariat Ultimate, regular diesel, gooseneck/5th wheel prep, onboard scales, 2kw power on board, max recline seats, rapid heat, FX4, and dealer will add the goose gooseneck hitch.

My built truck has been sitting at the rail yard 113 miles from the dealer for 19 days waiting for the trucking company to deliver to the dealer. In my case I need it asap. But your dealer could tell the trucking company to wait. Though they might charge storage fees at the rail yards. Also you could wait to close the deal once at the dealer.

Doesn't "Clean" mean there are no part constraints? This is probably just an allocation issue I'm guessing.
No, “clean” means there aren’t any errors in the configuration. Newer dealer ordering systems prevent an order that’s not correct for being entered. But older more manual system still allows combinations that aren’t not permitted on the order guide. Those orders can’t be built because they are not “clean”.

Nothing special, XLT 5th wheel prep., 6.7 non HO. This is what my dealer said today when I asked if my order was one of his 3 allocations for Nov. -
"I won't know until Ford previews which orders are getting looked at for production, they all sit at the same priority so it just depends on the builds and what Ford is scheduling for that production week. A Lot of our other builds that are unscheduled are Platinums which Ford hasn't really done any scheduling on, and overall your build doesn't have anything on it that should hold up scheduling it's just a matter of waiting for Ford to start scheduling some orders"I’ve seen some XLT’s scheduled the week after being submitted. They scheduled yesterday (Thursday 11/30). Your dealer does need to have a Super Duty allocation for you to be scheduled.

What are your trim and options. Means that either your dealee doesn’t have an allocation. Or some of the parts are not available.

Special order box on sticker is the invoice date. Production occurs about a week later. I would go to Ford Chat and ask about your vehicle.

Not only adaptive cruise, but lane keep assist. I don't use lane keep while towing (my F150 has that & bluecruise), but for long drives like to pick up my son from college it takes a lot of the fatigue out of the trip. And adaptive cruise is GREAT while towing; I set it to 65, get behind a truck that looks like it knows what it's doing, and relax. If a trucker is slowing down, it's for a reason and I'm happy to be slowing down with them.
To be fair, I didn't know I'd be waiting a whole year for my Platinum. I don't know that I'd do it again, but now that I'm a few weeks away from being built I am glad I held on. And the seat massage was a requirement for me getting a new truck from my wife, so I was sweating when they removed those in the Plats at the end of 23. As for the power steps -- you can configure them to always stay out if you aren't a fan of the power function. (At least, I can in my F150 and assume it's the same for super duty).
I know a few people who would still be alive if their car or some else’s had those safety features. Especially for our kids, I make sure every car my kids get have those options, even if extra trim based features also have to come along with it and raise the price.

Picked up my 2024 F250 last week at the dealer. Watched it get towed away today at 187 miles. Cylinder misfires and check engine light. I think it was on the assembly line when the strike started. Not happy.
The engine were built in Mexico if a diesel and Canada if a gasser. But long before the Kentucky Plant strike. Will be interesting to see what’s wrong. Hopefully just a bad coil.

As I’ve understood this for years, this isn’t correct. The As built to be loaded may be known based on engineering/options, the software is loaded on the assembly line, wirelessly now and the “G” is the final check in the system that it’s complete and correct. Probably a simple checksum report. It’s loaded there so that they can incorporate the latest engineering revisions. When your particular module, just pick one (heated steering wheel), it may be at a 1.0 revision level, or no software at all when actually manufactured. Since then with options, TSB’s and other engineering corrections, it may be MANY versions down the road before production of a particular unit. It may even change based on delivery location. For instance, did you know you can adjust the heated steering wheel temps with this data in Forscan? It is entirely possible that a default heat temp (degrees) is lower in a truck hading for Phoenix than barrow Alaska. I use heated steering wheel because I did have to turn my steering wheel temp up in my 2022 F450 a few degree as it would hardly get warm at all. Default temp was set to lowest based on this as-built data. Now it’s toasty warm. There is is a REASON they call it AS BUILT and not AS DESIGNED. when you are dealing with as built, it’s exactly that and that is why this data isn’t present until your vehicle is in it’s final stages and powered up. Being in lean manufacturing environment for almost two decades I can promise you that aren’t loading these modules individually on a bench anywhere.
This may have been the case years ago. But my module data had a G since September, months before the truck was built. And the BCE data showed up 36 hours before Ford Pass became available and 12 hours before the day my truck was built, and about 14 hours before my status added the date on the tracker In Production. So either they got my Built date wrong by a day and Ford Pass takes 36 hours after the truck is built to show up, or the module data is uploaded to the database prior to the truck entering final assembly.
The module data showing up is a great indication that your truck will enter final assembly within the next 12-14 hours.

Well that is interesting. Maybe a web page error? Clear cookies/cache and try again? Different browser? I've had this page load half way before and not completely load, no G at the bottom.
The G means nothing. The module data is available 12 hours prior to your truck going down the line when it’s still a bunch of parts waiting to be put together. The BCE may be temporally plugged in on a workbench to configure it at the time the data shows up. But this data is a database of AsBuilt info for your truck that never changes. And can be used to reconfigure replacement modules to factory AsBuilt specs. Not a bad idea for you to keep a personal copy though.

I received an email and a text message from FORD this morning stating my truck is built. The Ford tracking states the truck has been built, and is awaiting shipment to the dealer which could take from a few days to a week. The text message states the truck is built and ETA to dealer is from 4 to 10 days. NOTE: the dealer is 10-12 miles from KTP, Kentucky Truck Plant.
Window sticker from FORD link is still not available (but has been available per the link above for 2 weeks +/-).
Nothing yet is shown in the Module Build Data - ?
Is this typical that no Module data is available but yet FORD tells me the vehicle is ready to be shipped ?
I am out of town and the help and guidance from those on this forum has been very helpful. Thanks.
Double check your VIN in both sticker and module tracker. Also use Ford Pass with the correct VIN. Make sure numbers that look like letters are what they should be.

I think the hardest part for me is the not knowing when and if. I ordered a F350 Lariat 6.7 BAP with max recline seats, scales, 5th wheel prep the end of Oct. Unfortunately I think I picked some parts with potential constraints. Even if the gave me scheduled date in March, I think I'd be happier than just not knowing week after week. The order says Job 1 but I saw that the balance out was in December. Do the Job 1 unscheduled roll over automatically to Job2? I haven't customer ordered since 2016 so I didn't have to deal with any of this back then.
Your Lariat order has all the options mine does and mine is on the way to the dealer.
i would think yours will be scheduled in the next few weeks and delivered in January. You may want to watch Long McArthur on YouTube on Tuesday nights and consider changing to black, chrome or sport appearance if the standard Lariat wheels still have contraints, but that might be resolved by December.
Job1 / Job2 usually means a change in the production process or the truck itself. Job1 2024 was identical to Job2 2023. They just changed the model year and added 2 colors (and a few minor things).
They are making some changes and timing it for Christmas at Kentucky but late January in Ohio. Again no idea what they are changing but it’s always an improvement. Job2 trucks will be an improvement over the 2023 and early 2024 trucks. Auto roll over don’t worry.

Has anyone ordered an F-250 or F-350 Limited SWD after 07/18/2023 and received at least a “Scheduled for Production” notice? Thanks
2024 Limited’s have been scheduled and built.
Limited’s are only built at a 4% rate. But orders ARE based on when they were first ordered. So yours is top of of the priority PROVIDED your dealer earned a Super Duty allocation for it.At this point, Limited’s that didn’t get scheduled Because lack of the ordering dealer having an SD allocation are in for a wait.

Curious if others are in the same boat. 2023 F350 Lariat DRW. Ordered in July build date pushed back twice. Last build date provided was 11/13. To my surprise it showed it moved to production 11/9. It's been sitting in production since 11/9. Seems like some folks when they move to production it takes a day or two tops. Just seems weird. I don't know if it really never went into production or the system is not updating.
Based on your time line, it’s moving down the final line now. You will soon get a date added to your InProduction status. That date will probably be the 16th and your truck will be built and shipped today or at the latest early Saturday morning. The first week of In Production is the plant gathering parts, making sure a body is built and painted, axles and frames are ready etc.

Interestingly enough, this data is all VERY important is you are messing with Forscan programming. I recommend printing to PDF and saving in a safe place.
The module data is NOT coming from your truck. It’s the AsBuilt config that is forever saved by Ford in this database in case you need to swap a module or fix errors from bad configuration changes. It will never ever change at this site. It’s created a couple hours before your truck enters the production line based on your build sheet and 18 hours later used to configure your trucks modules. Nothing is alive. Doesn’t come from your truck. Created by Ford to be loaded into your truck and in case you ever.l need it down the road. -
I just got a “Shipped” txt message and email from Ford. 11/13 build week that first went into “In Production” status morning of 11/6.
So for me, 8-1/2 days after it showed In Production it will be built and shipped.
Production Steps to Watch
1) Tracker status changes to “In Production” starting 7 days prior to scheduled build week.
2) 12 hours after going In Production, Window Sticker will be available.
3) 7 days and 6 hours after going In Production, the BCE module As Built data will be created based on your build sheet info. Your truck is still piles of parts at this point. This As Built info will later be uploaded to your truck as it’s built.4) 7 days and 18 hours after going “In Production, your truck will enter the final assembly line and your tracker will show a Date next to the In Production status.
5) 8 Days and 18 hours after going In Production status and 24 hours after getting a date added to the In Production, your truck will be built and shortly after shipped.-

Has any member ordered a 2024 Super Duty Limited and received a “Scheduled for Production” notice or better?
I ordered my 2024 Super Duty Limited SWD on July 28, 2023, and only received one 45-day update which stated “We’re still confirming your scheduled build date” around September 15, 2023.
All the Luxury trims, KR, Plat and Limited have way too many orders compared to capacity. In addition HO diesel is over capacity in the order bank.
Limited’s are being scheduled and built. But early 7/17 orders being done first and other constraint like HO diesel slowing people down. Lariats and below quickly being scheduled thru November. Lariats beginning to get congested by end of November
-
Ok, my truck now had a date added to the “In Production” status on the tracker.
So here’s the order of events.
1) 7 days prior to entering the final assembly line, you will see a tracker change to “In Production” without a date. At this point the right axles will be found and arranged in build order, a body with the right paint color will be stamped and welded. The right engine will be arranged in build order etc etc. for 7 days.
2) 7 days and a few hours after going into “In Production” on the tracker, your BCE modules As built configuration will become available. This is the data that will be configured into your modules in a few hours. This data can be used later if you need to replace your trucks modules. Does not indicate your truck is alive. Simply indicates the data is ready to be uploaded to the modules as they get connected later.
3) 12 hours later (7 days and 15 ish hours after the In Production status change) a date will be added to the In Production status on the tracker. This is simply a conformation of what you already knew following the module info.
4) Truck should be built within 22 hours of module data first showing up. This has not happened yet for my truck.
-
So learning something.
My truck only has module data under the BCE. Not the PCM yet.
BCE is Body Control Electronics.
PCM is Powertrain Control Module.
Means the body hasn’t been connected to the power train yet. .

Hey, I don't know what checking "Modules" means or how to check it. Please clue me in. Thanks
See posts on this thread not to far back for info on modules

So I just got AsBuilt module data from my truck which is a 11/13 built week and went into In Production status on morning of 11/6.
Still no FordPass, and no date next to In Production.
So checking modules is the first indication that truck is rolling along final line.

Hopefully just a temporarily glitch in the order tracker. Check again in the morning.
if it stays this way, check with the dealer. Very rare possibility the built truck was damaged or built wrong to the point that it needs to be rebuilt from start. If this is the case, it will have a priority of 2 or even 1 assigned by Ford so it gets replaced ASAP. Check with your dealer.

F350 Lariat Ultimate Rapid Red with 6.7 Diesel, Onboard scales, Pro Power, Max Recline, Supplemental Heat, FX4, Gooseneck 5th wheel Prep, Locking 3:31, Chrome Pkg.
Towing 14,980 lb Directional Drill trailer. BigTex 16TL 22 tilt trailer with Vermeer D20x22 S3 on it. Onboard Scales showed we had drill placed way too far back with dangerous 5% tongue weight instead of 10-15%. Onboard scales for the win!!
Highly recommend this option for those that tow equipment. Especially if employees are towing and don’t guess equipment placement correctly. If you own a company where employees are towing trailer mounted equipment get OnBoard scales !!! Will save towing accidents from Bad loading !!
Ordered 7/19. First scheduled 9/7. Invoiced 11/6, built and shipped 11/14. Sat at rail yard for 18 days. Picked up 12/14. Strike delayed by 3 weeks.
Just ordered trailer mounted camera and tpms to add to longer trailers.
Still trying to learn all the new features. Previous Super Duty was a 2008. A lot has changed !!!
