  1. It's all about the $$$! Not just the initial cost... the replacement costs are outrageous.
  2. The dealership ETA isn't worth a whole lot, especially with all the production delays, and doesn't tell you anything about the actual vehicle status. Your Dealer has 24/7 access to the Vehicle Visibility system which provides information on all status changes and updates regarding the order history, scheduling, production and transportation. In addition, the Vehicle Visibility system provides more timely and complete updates compared to the consumer facing tracking site. I'd recommend asking your Dealer for a copy of the Vehicle Visibility report for your vehicle so that you'll know the actual vehicle status.
  3. The following updated order guides are now available for download in the Dealer Order Guides section. 2021 Explorer 4-Door Order Guide 2021 Explorer 4-Door Order Guide (Canada)
  4. Your Dealer should be using the WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering) system for order entry. WBDO uses plain English descriptions instead of order codes. It could be an "edit" glitch in the system but both the old CONCEPS ordering system and WBDO generate error codes that often include advice on changes that will clear the error.
  5. The fuel charge is part of the invoice cost of the vehicle and not something added by the dealership. And Ford's policy is that every new vehicle is to be delivered with a full tank of fuel for all retail sales.
  6. The sales manager is concerned about you receiving spam e-mail and that's his excuse for not including your e-mail address as part of your retail order? Lazy excuse for not doing what's expected!
  7. Agreed. EcoSport is seriously outdated, outlived its usefulness and needs to be replaced with an all-new competitive model.
  8. I haven't seen a Bronco Sport on the road yet but I'm not on the road as much as I used to be. It really takes a whole Model Year before there's enough inventory and sales before a new vehicle model starts to have any presence or recognition on the road.
  9. And Dealers are really just now starting to get some Mach-E stock units to add to the units in the transportation service program.
  10. Dealers earn additional allocation by selling more vehicles which retail factory orders help them do. Retail orders are like money in the bank as the customer gets the exact vehicle they want or require and the vehicle is delivered to the customer within days of arriving at the dealership. It's that quick turnover that helps including the fact that the Dealer doesn't incur the usual floorplan inventory expenses. Not wanting to order a retail customer's vehicle because they don't want to use the allocation for a retail order is simply stupid. The retail order will be delivered as soon as it's received from the factory as opposed to a vehicle that could potentially sit in stock inventory for an extended period, or at least incur some floorplan expense, even when inventory is tight. Inventory management is much more difficult when inventory is tight because there's a much slimmer margin of error in stocking the right inventory mix.
  11. Fleet Managers do not usually get involved with retail customer orders as the fleet business is very time consuming by itself and doesn't allow time for retail orders.
  12. The USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) for 2022MY Super Duty orders opened for all Dealers at the same time. There is no secret to ordering 2022MY vehicles. Any Dealer claiming that they can't place 2022 Super Duty orders is lying and you should take your business elsewhere. While the USOB is open, the scheduling start is still TBD.
  13. Just for fun... I'm old enough to remember the old saying... If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it!
  14. Try the 2022 Lincoln Aviator Order Guide which is available for download in the Dealer Order Guides section/link in the menu at the top of each page. https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/files/file/559-2022-lincoln-aviator-order-guide/
  15. Solid State technology will be a game changer for BEV vehicles.
  16. Hardly! No one does trucks like Ford and Ford would be producing the 2023 F-150 Lightning regardless of anything Tesla or any other manufacturer might attempt. Ford's been the truck leader for 43 years and that's not going to change. No one knows, understands or is as committed to truck buyers as Ford. Ford continuously raises the bar leaving the competition in a perpetual mode of trying to catch up!
  17. Once again... this Forum is for scheduling information only and applies to unscheduled orders only!
  18. The 2021MY Super Duty is balanced out. 2022MY Super Duty scheduling is still TBD.
