  1. I would expect that the front plate bracket location is probably moved to accommodate the winch.
  2. The VIN number is generated at the time the order is scheduled and the scheduled production week is assigned. Commodity issues can prevent an order from getting scheduled but normally don't affect an order once it's scheduled. Ford's scheduling system is usually pretty good at making exceptions to existing commodity issues in order to schedule retail orders as soon as possible. When the order is scheduled, the VIN number is generated and the scheduled production week is assigned. The dealership ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) may or may not be available initially but your dealership should be able to estimate the ETA until one is available from Ford. As the scheduling process moves forward, the production week will be narrowed down to a production date. Your dealership ha 24/7 access Ford's Vehicle Visibility system that provides order status, production and tracking information on a continuous basis.
  3. Yeah try driving, or just moving a Mustang GT with the Performance Package and summer rated tires or a Shelby when it's cold enough, even on dry pavement!
  4. Scheduling Notes On Thursday, January 7, EcoSport, Expedition and Transit Connect orders will not be selected for scheduling. Balance to go SIMS orders have been created for Explorer, F150, and Super Duty using commodities still available at the plant for scheduling. 21MY Transit Until further notice, Transit orders with the 110V Power Converter (90D) will not be selected for scheduling There is a low availability of the Parcel Delivery Package (47G) and the Recreation Package (47D) for 21MY Transit. Please consider removing these packages for your orders to schedule more quickly. 2021MY Bronco Sport Converted Reservations On Priority “99” - Please make sure you are reviewing/amending ALL Bronco Sport Reservations for customers. All NEW converted reservations will be set to a do not schedule priority of “99” until the order is updated to customer requirements. Once the order content is validated, the priority code can be updated to a "Retail" priority code to allow for scheduling. Update the Priority code to a retail priority and submit any other changes to have the order scheduled. Bronco Sport OTD Scheduling – Due to commodity constraints on the 18" Machined-face Aluminum Ebony Black Painted Wheel (64M) and the Moonroof, which is included in the Big Bend Package (96P), please consider removing this wheel and/or the Big Bend Package from your Big Bend orders to prevent scheduling delays. 2021MY Bronco Sport Outer Banks Package – As communicated during this wholesale, the Outer Banks Package (96T) is a 0% national control, meaning it is not available to amend in to in WBDO until further notice. However, the Outer Banks Entity (R9C) is available for scheduling this production cycle.

  10. The VIN number is created at the time the order is scheduled, is immediately available in Vehicle Visibility and all Ford systems, and does not change. As akirby suggested, talk directly to the Sales Manager.
  11. The updated 2021 Mustang Order Guide has been uploaded to the Dealer Order Guides Section. This update includes the Mach 1 Handling Package (60K) information.
  12. Ford offices have been closed for the holidays but re-opened today. I've been checking for new order guide updates but none have been released yet today. I'd expect the updated order guides to be released by tomorrow including an updated 2021 Mustang Order Guide that will include the Mach 1 Handling Package order code and information. I'll upload the new order guide as soon as it's available.
  13. The Power-Deployable Running Boards have been a commodity issue at times due to availability/supplier issues.

  15. Most likely not the typical demo units but vehicles required to be put in service through the Ford Courtesy Transportation Program. They're to be used as loaners and/or demo units and must be in service for a specific term and/or mileage before being sold.

  18. It's a bit surprising that the problem is with Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas. It's obviously a big market and very competitive. This year's situation is unprecedented with the plants being down for 2 months due to the pandemic, supplier issues and the matter of not just a model changeover but introducing a next generation F-150. Normally there would be a good supply of inventory at the end of the year but this isn't the case this year for obvious reasons. The vehicle you want to purchase shows in the Ford Vehicle Locator as being in stock for 90+ days. The issue of business practices by Gaudin Ford is a different matter and not one that is easily answered because of what I've seen in Ford's behavior in other situations. I've seen Ford totally ignore a situation where a Lincoln Dealer was delivering Ford's out of their Lincoln dealership when the Ford dealership was in a totally different sales region amongst other factors. A clear franchise violation that Ford chose to ignore because the Dealer Principal was a Ford employee 50 years ago! I get annoyed (and more) when I see dealerships being deceptive in either their sales or advertising practices. The advertising regulations in most states are similar but not necessarily enforced on a uniform basis. I don't know who you contacted at Gaudin Ford but at this point, if you want to make noise, I'd be working my way up the management ladder. I'd talk or contact the Sales Manager, whoever their Internet or Advertising Manager is, the Fleet Manager, the General Manager and even the Dealer Principal. I would certainly contact Ford again as a follow-up and would tell them about the online pricing changes. The other options are to post a review on Yelp and/or to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I recently left my dealership after nearly 35 years as the Advertising Manager and the manager that managed the new vehicle inventory responsible for ordering all the stock, retail and fleet orders.
  19. Yeah... a lot of people were buying freezers for additional food storage. Part of the impact of so many people working from home and the expectation of it being long term.
  20. Try getting appliances with so many people doing home remodeling projects thanks to the pandemic. I ordered new kitchen appliances on September 25th. Three of the appliances arrived 3 weeks ago but the side-by-side refrigerator with ice and water dispenser still hasn't arrived. Now I'm waiting for the refrigerator to come in so everything can be installed at the same time. Until then I'm stuck waiting to put the property on the market.
  21. Some Dealers allow inventory "In Transit" to show in their online inventory but there should be a notice on their website identifying those units as being in transit.

  23. Without getting too involved, there are only a handful of 2020 F-150's in stock nationwide with your basic specifications. The only units showing in Ford's Vehicle Locator are all equipped with the #101A package and none with the #100. The Skid Plates are available only for fleet orders on the #100A package. And the FX4 option is only available with the #101A package. This is an odd vehicle configuration that a dealership wouldn't order for stock, even excluding the fleet items, and dealerships tend not to order long wheelbase units for stock except for an occasional unit. Some of the other options would never be ordered on a stock XL vehicle as the pricing ends up being too close to an XLT. As for the photos on Gaudin Ford's (Las Vegas) website... those are not actual vehicle photos but VIN specific digital photos created by Ford that are now available by subscription from Ford. As for pricing, they're advertising the truck at MSRP on their dealership website. The "Fleet" price showing on Cars.com is a different issue which they can easily correct. Whether this is very sloppy inventory management by the dealership, poor communication between the retail sales and fleet departments or something else I can't say or speculate on. Regardless, the problem exists solely at the dealership level. The easiest solution is for you to order a 2021MY F-150 with the specifications you require. Hope this helps.
