  1. Ordering a customer's vehicle as a stock order to get it quicker is fine but there was no advantage in doing that this year as Ford started scheduling 2019 Mustang retail orders the 2nd week of scheduling this year. The only restriction was that the retail orders wouldn't ship until the "Okay to Buy" is achieved.
  2. Final 2018 Fusion scheduling will be done next Thursday, May 31st. Your Dealer already knows what remaining allocation they have available for 2018 Fusion Energi scheduling. Ford always tries to schedule retail orders so it's still possible it will get scheduled, even if your Dealer doesn't have 2018 Fusion Energi allocation remaining. Considering how close it is to "Balance Out" for 2018MY Fusion scheduling, your Dealer should have given your retail order number and body code to their Ford Zone Manager, if they haven't already done so, so that the Regional Scheduler could reprioritize your order at priority code "01" to try to force the ordering system to schedule your vehicle. It's to late to get this done for tomorrow's scheduling but it's still possible for next week unless there's an Energi commodity issue. I just checked this afternoon's "Scheduling Toolbox" for tomorrow's scheduling and it states that the plant is full for this week's scheduling and that allocation will roll over to next week. As such, next week's 2018 Fusion scheduling will cover this week's allocation and next week's. I'd suggest contacting your Dealer and asking if they've contacted Ford about reprioritizing your order to "01", etc.
  3. 2019 Fusion pricing has now been loaded into the WBDO (Web Based Dealer Order) Ordering System so that Dealers can start placing orders into the USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank).

  8. Priority Code 80 indicates that this order was placed for stock and not a retail order. With Priority 80 this order will be the last, if ever, to schedule for that dealership. Talk to your Dealer. See the "Ford Vehicle Ordering & Scheduling Process" pinned to the top of the Ford Motor Company Discussion board for additional information.

  20. Sorry but I only have access to information for the New York Region. Dealers get the expected commodity mix each month as part of the monthly allocation process.
  21. The 2019 Mustang Order Guide shows the MagneRide Damping System (96B) as a Registered Trademark.
  22. P8C is the Body Code for a Mustang GT Fastback. The Performance Package - Level 2 (673) is limited availability but I can't find any specific information as to the scheduling availability and/or volume. July production for the MagneRide Damping System (96B) is limited to 6% for the New York Region. As such, I'd expect a longer Order-to-Delivery time. Current estimate is 12-14 weeks.
  23. Scheduling is usually done Thursday mornings but sometimes the scheduling commitment gets pushed back until 4:00pm. The Regional Scheduler notifies dealers when the scheduling is pushed back to Thursday afternoon or Friday. Scheduling confirmations are available to Dealers through WBDO or Vehicle Visibility by Friday morning.
  24. No problem as there's no bubble to burst. Back in the day you had to trade every three or four years for the simple reason that cars didn't last any longer! The early imports may have been better quality than the domestics at the time but I wouldn't say it was absolute, that's just my opinion. The engineering improvements have developed at different cycles for many manufacturers. The early Hyundai's were horrible and used to catch fire just sitting on the lots but they've come a long way since then. As for fit and finish, Ford's Mustangs are typically poor.
