  1. The only two actuators on the driver's side are the Mode and the LH Temperature Door which you have now apparently replaced. The RH Temperature Door actuator is located under the glove box and the Air Inlet actuator requires removal of the Instrument Panel / Dash. The Ford (Motorcraft) part numbers are as follows: Mode DG9Z-19E616-B (YH-1906) replaced by GS7Z-19E616-A (YH-2022); Temperature Control [2 required] DG9Z-19E616-A (YH-1905) replaced by GS7Z-19E616-B (YH-2023); Air Inlet DG9Z-19E616-C (YH-1907) replaced by GS7Z-19E616-C (YH-2024). There is also a Driver Side Register Air Discharge Temperature Sensor located under the steering column which requires removal of the trim panel directly underneath the steering column and a Driver Side Footwell Air Discharge Temperature Sensor which the workshop manual calls for removal of the steering column. The Ford (Motorcraft) part numbers for these sensors is CV6Z-19C734-A (YH-1811). The discharge temp sensors are relatively inexpensive. Again, I am not a technician and would first like to scan the modules for any diagnostic trouble codes. Also, with the vehicle outside and running with the A/C on, have someone change the temp settings for the driver side while you look and listen to that LH temp blend door. If you can see or hear any type of obstruction (lack of smooth transition) you may have a physical blend door issue. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
  2. Not a technician here but your 2013 Fusion with Dual Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) has four blend door actuators: (1) air distribution door actuator, (2) LH / Driver Side temperature door actuator, (3) RH / Passenger Side temperature door actuator and (4) air inlet door actuator . You have apparently installed a new air distribution door actuator (#1). My thoughts are that you are dealing with a LH temperature door actuator (#2) issue (the blend door is not opening / closing properly or choosing the correct location based on your temp setting). Do you have access to a scan tool? If so, self test all modules for any diagnostic trouble codes. There are numerous pinpoint tests and inspections which may need to be performed to accurately diagnose your problem. Replacement of the LH temp door actuator requires removal of the accelerator pedal but does not appear to be labor intensive.
  3. Ford has approximately 45,000 F-Series built but awaiting chips / modules (27,000 F-150 / 18,000 Super Duty). Shipments expected through early October (July 18,000 / August 15,000 / September 11,000 / October 1,000). All of the F-150's were (partially) assembled at DTP. Dealers reportedly are receiving units without chips / modules and are to install locally at a later date.
  4. Dealerships have received tons of correspondence regarding COVP. As ice-capades and akirby have pointed out countless times, you need to talk with the Sales Manager or General Manager and get your retail order verified. One of Ford's few programs which is truly a win-win for the customer & all dealerships. We experienced some early glitches with uploading documents but all of our retail MY 2022 orders have been verified.
  5. The kicker on this is that Ford has had to issue a TSB on Rangers to install an engine cover to prevent water from filling the spark plug wells.
  6. We have a retail F-350 (MEE09341) built and released on 5-20-2021; on a rail car due in Omaha NE ramp on 6-4-2021.
  7. Not much help from the workshop manual: 2008 Fusion.pdf
  8. We sell one or two every year to our older clients who don't want to bother with a smart phone. The "updated" maps are also woefully outdated when you receive them.
  9. They didn't elaborate much on the "other factors" ; mentioned the freezing weather & snow in the southern US wreaking havoc on the supply chain. It is a one-way broadcast; we can't submit questions like the town hall meetings.
  10. At the monthly sales recap broadcast, Ford presented a chart showing impact of "chip shortage" & "other factors". Chip Shortage: High Impact - F150, Edge, Escape & Ecosport ; with Ecosport being the most impacted. Minimal Impact - Explorer & Transit. No Impact - Mustang, Bronco Sport, MachE, Expedition & Super Duty. Other (Weather, Supplier & Manufacturing): High Impact - Bronco Sport & MachE. Minimal Impact - Mustang, Bronco Sport, MachE, Explorer, Expedition, F150 & Super Duty . To address these concerns, Ford is cutting / deferring rental volume, deferring commercial / government volume & cutting company car orders on high impact lines.
  11. I wonder how many of the Bronco Sport sales are to actual end users. Ford is directly reporting the sale of units enrolled in the Courtesy Transportation Program (FCTP) . Our first FCTP Bronco Sport was reported sold almost 45 days prior to actual dealership receipt.
  12. We have a Carbonized Grey Badlands inbound (shows as in dealer stock on shop.ford.com). Due first week of March but, as Deanh pointed out, it is enrolled in the Courtesy Transportation Program.
  13. Send me a PM or post the full 17 digit VIN of any unit you are looking at and I'll run an OASIS report.
  14. Hector -- The basic part numbers are 19H511 (housing) and 42528 (oval). I don't think Ford has updated its parts catalog properly for the Black Appearance Package. I will submit a request to Ford for the correct numbers and post my findings.
  15. Three photos of a 2021 F350 which just arrived. Our customers usually cut three holes in the mat (front 2 safety chain pucks & center 5th wheel).

  17. All yours for $41,981 https://www.mcgrathvolvocarsoffortmyers.com/used/Ford/2021-Ford-Bronco+Sport-fort-myers-fl-276e48080a0e0ae8632ffabeeaeeaafa.htm
  18. Just received a retail 2021 F250 with 43 miles on it fresh off the transport. Ford is supposed to affix a sticker on the window if the unit was involved in random testing but only about 1/4 of those with excessive miles sport such a disclosure.
  19. Must have 1 BEV enrolled and available in the Ford Courtesy Transportation Program, must have a minimum of two Level 2 (240V) chargers available, sales & service personnel required to be certified in select BEV courses (techs must be certified in high voltage systems and high voltage battery repair) and a list of required shop equipment (includes BEV high voltage battery module balancing charger, BEV hoist table, FHEV high voltage battery rescue charger, a smoke machine for leak testing battery packs & a variety of other tools for servicing all EVs (BEV, PHEV & hybrid). We passed at this time as well.
  20. Kyle is correct; due to supply constraints Ford is approving the use of competitive make replacements. Have heard that AC Delco & NAPA have been approved in certain cases.

  22. Bronco eligible for A/Z/D; ineligible for X Plan & X Plan Partner.
  23. Alex D -- We have redeemed thousands of dollars in rewards since inception of the Ford Pass Reward program. The current tire rebate program offers a $70 prepaid credit card or $150 in Ford Pass Rewards points; the majority of our customers are opting for the Ford Pass Rewards points (as a bonus, they also earn points for the tire purchase). The Ford Pass app and the Ford Pass Rewards systems can be buggy (Ford has the worst IT in existence) but the redemption process has been excellent to date. When it works, it really is a wonderful loyalty program.
  24. Your selling dealer should install the Ford Pass app ( and activate the vehicle's modem ) on your smart phone during the delivery process. They should also enroll you in the Ford Pass Rewards program and input all of your vehicles ( even non-Ford vehicles are eligible for Ford Pass Rewards ). Upon agreeing to the terms & conditions, your Ford Pass Rewards account will be credited with 42,000 points ( 75,000 points for a diesel ). Points are worth 0.5% ( .005 ); your 42,000 points for new vehicle purchase are worth $210 ( $375 for a diesel ). You will earn 10 points for every $1 spent on qualifying parts & service repairs / purchases ( only Ford / Motorcraft / Omnicraft parts & associated labor are eligible ). Anyone can join the Ford Pass Rewards program ( no new vehicle purchase required ) and earn points on qualifying parts & service repairs / purchases . As noted above, it is not limited to Ford / Lincoln / Mercury products . Simply go to fordpassrewards.com/ , register and input your vehicles. When you go to the dealership, they will need to know the email address used to sign up in order to redeem any earned points. The Ford Pass smart phone app and Ford Pass Rewards are two separate animals. No smart phone or new vehicle purchase required for Ford Pass Rewards ( just an email address ).
