  1. 19850 is the "basic" number for the evaporator. The original part number ( FR3Z-19850-J ) has been superseded 4 times ( FR3Z-19850-N / FR3Z-19850-S / FR3Z-19850-W / FR3Z-19850-AB ). As noted, FR3Z-19850-AB is the current part number. Supersession can be the result of design changes, supplier changes or at the whim of Ford. Your original repair order should show which part number was used in the initial repair.
  2. In my experience, you need two programmed keys as the manual states. Only option with one programmed key is to use a Ford IDS scan tool (or FORScan) to reprogram additional keys. If you've got 22 minutes and a correct key it's pretty easy to see if the "found on internet" method works. If you want 4 programmed keys, using Ford IDS scan tool (or FORScan), erase all keys and start fresh.
  3. All dealers were notified Wednesday, 9/30/2020. We also were not surprised because dealers have been reporting problems across the entire 2020 model lineup for quite some time. We have been led to believe that it is a problem with the circuit board. Current part numbers are on backorder & we suspect new part numbers with much lower cost. 11. Yes; the 1991's were so much nicer than the previous versions in my opinion. Better looking and ready to go right out of the box. For a small dealer, we sold quite a few 1991 GT's.

  21. Dean -- That was my understanding as well but the above is a direct correspondence from Ford via FMCDealer. I do know that when they ran a similiar program for the Boss 302 owners you could bring your own or fly in and use one supplied by the track.

  24. The original poster is referring to the Employee Tire Discount Program available to Ford / Lincoln Around the Wheel dealerships. As mentioned, the discount is also extended to Ford Motor Company employees (A) and retirees (Z). The downside to the program is that the tires must be purchased under the Around the Wheel program and generally cost more than if the dealer ordered under their wholesale agreement with the tire distributor. The current program offers a discount of up to $20 per tire on select brands (must purchase a set of 4 and have them installed by an Around the Wheel dealer).
