How many vehicles do you see with long silver antenna's? Not a good look on the 150's. Integrate the antenna within the vehicle and eliminate the external antenna

I backed out of garage and clipped the antenna, the base is a bit loose and I need to get to it. There is only about a 10 inch reach from the upper back of vehicle with the hatch open where I could get under the headliner. I am just not real sure how to get under it. Can anyone help me with this? dealer wants over $200 to fix and I am pretty sure the problem is just a bent bracket underneath. I think If I can take out the antenna, I could bend the bracket back to original and then re-attach. Help !! forgot to mention, it's a 2014 ford escape

Here is a trick/mode I did: Want your Head Lights to come on before it is really dark? I love the Ford Fusion's automatic headlights! On my Energi Titanium, they come on when it gets dark, they come one when it rains and my wipers come on (automatically). But like so many other cars I have had, they don't come on early enough for me, it has to be pretty dark. Dusk is the most dangerous time and I feel your lights should be on. I wish they would allow you to set the light sensitivity (Ford please take note) for the auto on. I have a solution that works for me. I took some regular clear tape and "tinted" it with a black permanent marker and then layered it (2 pieces worked) and covered the light sensor in the middle of the dash (reducing the amount of light getting it). This makes your headlights come on earlier or even on a really cloudy day.
