I am somewhat new to the site. I joined looking to understand ordering / build process. On 9/28/2021, I placed an order for a 21MY F150 4x4 King Ranch High with 3.5 Eco. I included most non dealer added options except for the Moon Roof. I included Max tow package, CCD, Max Recline seats, Pro Power 2kw. On 10/28/2021 the dealer notified me the order was "punted" to a 22MY and forwarded me the Order Summary. I also received Email confirmation from Ford on this date showing Priority Code 19. Last week the dealer told me the order was a priority 9, Unscheduled Clean. Here's hoping the supply chain issues get worked out and we ALL get our trucks soon!

Getting ready to take delivery of my MKZ and dealership is offering paint sealant? Is this a scam? Did anyone else get this option??? -
Trying to configure a 2014 Explorer and there are two new colors listed that I don't believe I've seen in real life. The colors are "Sunset" which looks sort of red/orange, and "Dark Side" which looks no different than black on the little square on the screen. Are these colors used anywhere on cars already manufactured? I'd like to see them before I decide on anything. I'm especially curious about the Dark Side paint. Probably too much to hope for a matte color on an Explorer, yes? Thanks!

Hello, I'm new here and joined because I see helpful and friendly information concerning things that interest me now that I've ordered a new truck. On Memorial Day I popped over to the local dealer and put a 2012 F350 SD on order because in the last six months, there was hardly ever one in the crew cab, eight foot bed, 4X4 configuration on the lot; there or anyware within a satisfactory distance from home. My father has hee-hawed around for over a year now about getting this truck, so I pulled the trigger for us. He tried to remain in the hesitant state, "Are you sure we shouldn't wait a year or two?" Needless to say, he was very ecstatic and it didn't take long for him to show it. His current truck is a Dodge 3/4 ton 4WD he bought new in '97. It's still serving him well, but age is catching up. My uncle bought a new '10 Dodge last year (he got a better deal on it as the 2011's were already on the lots) and so my dad was going to buy the same this year, next year, the year after, etc. - the procrastination expert. I personally feel the Ford is the heavier duty of the big three, especially Chevy and explained to him why. I also know that he wanted the hemi powered Dodge since he drove my uncle's new baby. The 6.2 is comparable to the hemi in the power department anyhow. For the minor price difference from F250 to F350, we could have a one ton with a gas engine and single rear wheels (my dad is not into the duallies or diesels, at all, ever for himself...we all have our opinions). We are excited and counting the weeks until delivery, I have to try and forget about it like a little boy (as if you can't tell, right?). Ordered a Reg Cab XLT 4X4 w/EcoBoost in Green Gem w/Two tone paint and Chrome running boards on 4/9. Should have gone into production on 5/7. I am awaiting confirmation of that and an estimated ship/delivery date. I wish there was a better tracking system for such an expenscve purchase--like how UPS can track millions of packages a day. Has anyone seen a Green Gem F150 live? I have only seen pictures and the online BYO rendering--but I love green so I ordered the color. So looking forward to my first Brand new F150, which will be my third! --BigJoe57
