I'm so tired of our union, I would vote to decertifiy the UAW in a heart beat. DO you hear me mike abell??? how's your son doing in his new job? David Crawford KTP 4x4 driveshaft connect B-crew I don't care anymore if you know who I am, I won't hide behind a phoney name if you won't hide behind a phoney union job anymore!!! Why are you so angry? The COA would ensure low seniority people (like you) have a job.

Xerxes12
There is no COA at CAP and no rumors of one. Why do you think that we are the only assembly plant ( not closing ) without a COA?
rc38
VOTE NO,DTP will build those Superduty's when your plant is closed because you voted no......COA is way of future,we the workers have no choice but if you don't like it then take buyout.... They wouldn't send the super duty's to DTP. My guess is the super duty's would go to MTP and their production of expy's and nav's. would go to DTP. The extra f-150's that would go to KCAP. I have told the ones running around yelling vote no,they don't look at the bigger picture of what they are getting in a flex bodyshop with laser cell technology that none of the other truck plants have. And no sharing of production with a sister plant up to 400,000 units a year. The new super duty uses the same tooling to build as the f-150,we no longer are exclusive in the way be build are trucks like we were in the past. mule
I dont think DTP or MTP would wind up with the superduty, I think your missing the obvious..............the plant in Mexico that built the superdutys is still there....hmmmm???
big blue fury
Vote Yes and that just shows you are chicken shit like the whole UAW has become. Keep your job for how long? A year or two until they open it up again because they supposedly need more cuts to survive. What would the union do if Ford decided down the road they couldn't invest the money in KTP? If you vote yes to save your own ass then you should be made to look those 25/30 year guys whose job you are removing in the face and tell them their service has gone unappreciated. It is time to stand up. We are the only plant that has any power to have an impact on Ford right now, profit wise. In a couple of years that won't be the case and our power will be gone and then what? By the way there is some shady shit going on right now with department transfers and shift preference. 99s going into body shop. What the ? qwerty1
It does not matter what you vote, it will pass!!!!!!! You’re damn straight. In fact, the conspiracy is bigger than you think. I heard that Mike Abell went down to the Superamerica, you know, the one across from the plant, and told them to raise their gas price to $3.20 per gallon. Why do you ask? Because he bought a few hundred shares of some oil company, and was selling short. Well, they did it, and now I am paying through the nose for my gas all over the place. Also, Mike doesn’t really go to Vegas with the other suck asses, he actually went to New Mexico, where they keep them aliens. Not the illegal kind, the UFO kind. Told me that he actually saw a spaceship. All because he is the building chair. I got all this on tape in case you want to hear it. Here is my WEB site: www.youareafuckingidiot.com Yep, the COA will pass because the machines are rigged. So, don’t vote, cause your no vote will turn into a yes vote. Its just magic. So stay home, and watch out for them falling meteors. One hit Mike Abells car once and he sued them people out there at area 51, got millions. Got that on tape too. I don't care who you are, thats some funny shit right there! Seriously though, the COA will pass. But not because of crooked voting machines or tpts voting or any of the other riduculis assertions spinkled throughout this forum. The COA will pass because the majority of the people at KTP think like you and I and the majority rules. Big-blue-furry and ktpworker69 Rest assured wether it passes at KTP or not is irrelevant, 36 plants have ratified so far. Five years from now if you still work for Ford you will be working under a COA. You just need to decide if you would rather work at KTP with our COA or at another plant with their COA. I made a simular suggestion in another thread but, I did not mean become nonunion. Just non UAW Gettlefinger is weak and it's costing us. We have no legal resposibility to bargain with the company before sept. The only reason our bargaining comittee engaged in negotiations on a COA at OHAP was because they where instructed to by the national executive board! How does FAW sound? I'm sure the Teamsters would welcome our dues money. It seems that they are the only ones left with balls, ask the AFLCIO!!!!!!! Wake up, I guess you didn't see the plant manager's news letter on the 4th of May. The COA is coming to CAP. TT is trying to keep it quiet until after the election ( it wouldn't look to good for the Team). Right after our elections watch how fast it gets shoved down our throats. I'm not making this up look for the Plant Manager's news letter if you don't believe me.

stormwatcher
Every plant is going to have a COA or they won't be there anymore. Any one that wants a job better wake before it's too late. Maybe you don't give a crap if you have a job, but some of us do. If you're mad at the Union, why don't you be a man and stand up and say your piece? Did you go to the meeting Sunday or the union meeting today? I hate to think about how ignorant some of the people are that are allowed to vote. The stupid things people are talking about don't have anything to do with the COA. Of course you'll have short work week? No, you won't have to work more than 10.7 hours. Dumb questions!!! Just remember what job you were doing before you came to Ford. I guess you were making alot more money and had better benefits? Then why did you come here? Where are you going to get another job paying the money you are making now? Gas prices going up will just be one of your problems. Will another job even offer health insurance? Will you be off a week between Christmas and New Years? Will you have 4 days off on Easter weekend? Will you have election days off? You vote this COA down, you screw yourself!!! rc38
They have you right where they want you. I would guess that most people that are screaming to vote yes never had anything before ford. I would be ashamed If my son backed down from a bully(uaw). I have not talked to one older man at the plant that intends to vote yes to this. Even if you get a bloody stand up like a MAN. The older guys that are up for retirement won't be affected, they will just retire when they close the plant. And not all the older guys are voting no,and there are quite a few people voting yes on b and c crews in trim. Also quite few are in body and paint as they go back to 4-10's. Remember that this laser cell technology for the body is for the next generation super duty that we are starting in 2010. If you vote down the COA,you have about 2 years to build this current model. Then Ford will build the new one somewhere else, probably MTP since there flex and will need a product. If we vote yes we keep the new flex equipment and are sole producer through the next model. All the other truck plants have passed the COA,and this truck is built on the tooling as the F-150. As you have seen many of the people in DTP and MTP are just waiting for us to vote this down. That gives them a chance to land the new laser technology with the new super duty. You really need to look at the whole picture, and not let emotion make your decisions.
