yeah, and the Masons run the government too.

I suppose I better drop off my resume to the Illuminati

22 Congressmen write to President in opposition to SPP as secret Montabello confab begins

As a secretive "Security and Prosperity Partnership" (SPP) meeting between the Mexican, Canadian and U.S. heads of states begins this week in Quebec, 22 members of the House of Representatives have put their names to a letter to president Bush demanding their concerns be heeded and that the administration back off the stealth program.

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That is what BOTH political partys strive for, and we underlings smile with glee, when our guys get control. Silly us!!!!!! And we wonder why we are divided, lolol. Those two political partys would have it no other way. After all, it is either them, or the other guys in power. Repubs and dems luv that idea. Look what happens when a 3rd party runs, they both viciously attack them to keep the status quo, in all essence becoming allies to tear them apart.

If that doesn't tell you anything about our political system, nothing will.

I remember right before Bush got elected everyone was saying we don't need another Dem. Now the saying is we don't need another Repub. This crap goes back and forth all the time and in the meantime people don't realize that it's worse every time. Like I have stated many times I'm independent. I don't care who runs or whatever party, even no party, I want someone who is going to do the job they are supposed to do. From what I know of you Ima, if you ran you would at least get two votes. It is really sickening to know how this works keeping us divided and most are to ignorant to see.

Whatever happened to all the different parties we used to have?

Why Your Vote Will Never Matter

Well, it looks like the 2008 election campaign is in full swing, or is it? Does anyone know who the Greens are running? Or the Socialists? Or the Progressives or Populists or Workers World? Nah, I guess we don't need them to get started. They can fill in the chorus parts at the end of the play. All we need is Big Politics. Come and get it. One party for the price of two!

Democrats and Republicans alike beseech us to get out there and vote, and why not? Besides making these self-anointed guardians of democracy seem open and civic-minded, there is the reassuring prospect that each will get their standard split (results will not vary greatly from 50/50). The virtual monopoly control of election apparat enjoyed by these two parties make them confident they will not have to face serious challenges from minor party candidates.

Moreso than Clinton you should thank people like bill gates for the prosperity in the late nineties. Clinton was a bad president not only because he was morally challenged..but he increased taxes, ignored terrorism and allowed an unelected official (hillary) far too much control and influence (hillary care anyone?), among other issues of course. Not to be totally negative, he did bring some good reforms to the welfare system.

Lest we forget it was also the Clinton/Greenspan regime that gave us all the easy credit that created the housing boom.

The fed has two goals.."maintain price stability" and "ensure maximum employment and output" (which is not 100% employment.....contrary to popular belief). But under greenspan it added "bail out markets". total BS..hopefully Bernanke is smart enough not to follow the same path.

I hope a republican wins..not because i support any in particular candidate but with a republican president and a democrat congress they have less of a chance of screwing things up worse. Gridlock might indeed be our saviour.

Seems to me that every one I see walking around has wads of $100 bills... What gives?

A lot of them don't have bank accounts. And a lot of them do very well for themselves believe it or not after they've been here a couple years. Day laborers and the ones that make squat are the drug addicts and alcoholics, or there fresh off the boat and don't have too many friends here. I was reading in the papers the other day that they've become targets for robberies around here since they carry so much cash around.

Its easy to have wads of cash if you can get 15 food stamp cards, pay little to no taxes, go to the emergency room for free and split your rent with 22 people,AND ride to work with 12 others in a Dodge minivan...

They sell their sisters on the street corner. You have been giving them way too much money lately.

There are more mexicans than americans where I work. Ever week or two we get a new group come through and I get at least 2 girls ask me if I am married. When I say yes they ask if I want a girlfriend on the side. They will do anything to get you to make them pregnant so they can stay here.

Financial bankruptcy, the US dollar and the real economy

"The U.S. government is on a 'burning platform' of unsustainable policies and practices." --David Walker, U.S. Comptroller General

"Modern society, based as it is on the division of labor, can be preserved only under conditions of lasting peace." --Ludwig von Mises, Austrian economist

"People know that inflation erodes the real value of the government's debt and, therefore, that it is in the interest of the government to create some inflation." --Ben S. Bernanke, Fed Chairman

"Regarding the Great Depression. You're right, we did it. We're very sorry. But thanks to you, we won't do it again." --Ben S. Bernanke, Nov. 8, 2002 (Fed Chairman, talking to economist Milton Friedman)

And it is me and you my friends who get screwed.
