pcsario
Did you completely miss the similarity to this? Fixed. MUCH closer to that than the Maserati. Hell they almost even placed the name in the same spot. Quattroporte my ass. Edited November 14, 2007 by pcsario
Bagrah01
Finally a Lincoln with all the luxury accoutrement. (WARNING:Opinion Ahead) Interior seems rich, with exception of gauges and Lincoln steering wheel, however dowdy and very similar in execution to current Cadillac STS, advantage being the large sunroof. Exterior big let down, the design seems really retro 90's with a mix of current Lexus GS, and Maserati Quattroporte. Just couldn't drop 38K for this. BTW how long is this car? You wouldn't drop 38K for a Maserati of GS? Are you crazy? I believe that this car was sculpted from something. Its that good looking. I do though, very much like the design of the GS and the Quattroporte. They along with this are two of my favorite cars.
pcsario
Sorry bud, but it looks more like the Maserati. No it doesn't. I know it's hard to admit but just look at the similarities. Give it the MKS C pillar and you're 95% there.

Disagree on the exterior; retro-90s look stems entirely from headlight and grille shape; the creased MKS shares no other traits with the coke bottle profiled and rounded corner Continentals. In fact the basic shape of the grille/headlight assembly could be pushed farther back, to the '88 Continental. I don't think this similarity is a problem. The overall shape is, honestly, derivative, but it's well executed; which as all those who dislike the '96 Taurus will agree, is better than original poorly executed. suv_guy_19
No, you just confused "his baby" with a better car. A better car...right....anyway..I don't want to argue with either of you on this. I'm not going to convince you, and your not going to convince me. I'm not going to convince you, and your not going to convince me. It is. Mainly because of two things: 1. RWD 2. Nurburgring
suv_guy_19
It is. Mainly because of two things: 1. RWD 2. Nurburgring Like I said, not going to argue, but I'll take an AWD MKS.
eddiehaskell
Does the MKS have an available manual transmission?
RichardJensen
2. Nurburgring The Nurburgring is on your daily commute? That is soooo cool. Do you work at the Ford plant in Cologne making Explorer engines?
suv_guy_19
Does the MKS have an available manual transmission? Nope, but I, along with most of the population hate manuals. However, there is supposed to be a dual clutch manual with the TF I do believe. That I could agree with.
P71_CrownVic
Like I said, not going to argue, but I'll take an AWD MKS. Of course you would. And the re-skinned $19,000 Fusion gauges don't bother you either.

No performance 3 strikes and you're out - especially for nearly $40 grand. Oh well, different strokes for differnt folks. If you believe so much in comments, maybe you should take a look at the owner comments on Edmunds and Yahoo for the Fusion.
