rmc523
Notice how the car is tweaked on both sides in the middle. This car took a hard hit in the doors. Does not seem to have any drivers area intrusion. I'm amazed at how Ford was able to engineer the doors to neatly place themselves in the back seat. Sucks for the guy back there, but.... P71_CrownVic
PS. They aught to show a CV that's been rear ended @ 70mph! Ford's not that smart. But if they did show a crashed CV, they should show this one: ...and the officer suffered only MINOR injuries. Now that is a real safe car. mrballsonya
What'd be the point of showing a Chinese vehicle, when they aren't on sale here yet? The Main point obviously, would be to show what a poorly designed and engineered product looks like when crashed at 35mph. The Chinese cars are coming, it's only a matter of when and not if. Why not be proactive, and start raising some safety doubts in the minds of the American consumer? After seeing some of the Chinese crash photo's that have been floating around on the Bon, I know I've become very skeptical of "Chinese Cars" in general.
