Ktp1989
In the letter from Scott, he talks about the new MOD Center. What is this?? Explain Please Thanks Mod Center is 8-10 Jobs out in the old Proveout Building where aftermarket items will be added in house that normally would be done by the owner at say Louisville 4x4 or Stuff for Trucks. I would say these jobs would take some seniority to get. Sorta like the old Ktec jobs.

Zora
Was told that this is still just speculation, that the number will go down. We will see... Question? These people have until Wed. to decide if they want to transfer to Lima, Chicago, or Buffalo? Well the people that this is going to apply too....are not even back to work. And more than likely don't even know about this.
KTPT
Question? These people have until Wed. to decide if they want to transfer to Lima, Chicago, or Buffalo? Well the people that this is going to apply too....are not even back to work. And more than likely don't even know about this. Excellent point. Does this count as one of your "two" transfer opportunities if you don't sign up? How does all this work?
fordsterling
Excellent point. Does this count as one of your "two" transfer opportunities if you don't sign up? How does all this work? A posting does not count as an "official offer". The postings are on a voluntary basis. If the they do not fill the jobs through the postings, then they start with the lowest person Ford wide in protected status and make official offers that way. Each zone has a certain number of people that can transfer. If your zone has say 100 people in protected stauts then no more than 100 people would be eligible to leave through this voluntary posting. Also remember that people that are not on ILO or in JSP can also put in for these transfers. There is alot of laguage on this, people should refer to the contract and really study this aspect of of it. It can get confusing.
Bottomfeeder
Since we are not "laid off" this should not count against us. Unless you are already laid off then maybe...

Bottomfeeder
SOME of the people would not of went if there wasn't the threat of a layoff. Nobody who went was in danger of being laid off anyway... :stats: Edited August 4, 2008 by Bottomfeeder

SOULJABOY
Yeah I guess some of the people who went to LAP from KTP might want to go back to their homeplant. These are the same ones who failed to understand what the change would be like for them. You really need to understand what you are asking for before you make a committement to go to another plant. Maybe the ones that want to come back are the suck asses that left and are crying because they do not get the same treatment they had at KTP LOL.
