Mark B. Morrow
Competed in tougher Class 8 eventhough it was built for lower level Stock Full Class. http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/25/ford-f-...n-of-baja-1000/
GT-Keith
Doubt they'll market this though. Casuals won't really understand in great detail of how big a win this is.
FoMoCobra
Awesome truck. Saw the Raptor at the LA auto show last week. I want a 2WD black one soo bad.... Add a pair of Axis rims, Nitto Terra Grapplers, Borla Exhaust system and you'd have the finest American built truck on the planet. Hello Low Gas Prices!!! goinbroke2
Very impressive, to bad it's not popular to say so outside of enthusiest circles.

Not true... it's still in the Dearborn pipeline for 2010. The 6.2L was dropped, but it will be available with 5.4L It rocks!

Apparently, the 6.2 hasn't been dropped, but it just won't yet be available at launch. Should be an optional engine later down the line. atomaro
It was 3rd in its class, and I think like 93rd overall.
Mark B. Morrow
It was 3rd in its class, and I think like 93rd overall. My understanding is that there are a lot of classes. I wonder where it would have come out in the Stock Full Class. It couldn't compete there because it isn't available for sale yet.

V8-X
Hope Ford advertises this to many of the truck forums. Either way, good showing by the Raptor. Can't wait to see one in person.
mlhm5
This truck was so highly modified, that it is Ford in badge only. Just look at the pictures. The rear end is completely tubed. All the suspension components, mounts, arms and uprights heavily beefed up. The front frame is also extremely reinforced. The only stock items on this truck are the transmission, frame (which has been beefed up), brakes and body panels.

So, in other words, -=most of the truck=- Sometimes I wonder if you wonder why so many of us just flat out do not take you seriously. Considering the entire truck is from a factory, the entire truck would be considered factory stock ... ?

Same frame, same tranny, same 6.2l, same underpinnings, same body panels = different truck? The fundamentals are the same, which is whats so exciting to everyone. Why do you post here? Even before I signed up a few days ago, I would notice that all you have is negative shit to post...I mean for someone who doesn't appear to like Ford, why have you vested thousands of posts into bashing it? Begone troll, leave this forum to people who actually like Ford.
