I don't like the side, mainly because it's based on the R8.

The front looks good though, although I'd add a Mustang emblem. I'm a bit confused on the curved reflections above the lower grille......are those reflections or supposed to be an opening in the bumper?

Its a reflection.

Better?

What do you want me to change about the side?

overall a nice looking car, Reigner

but

what I'd like you to change first is its NAME

then I'd have all sorts of styling suggestions

(although I DO think the Mustang is gonna contract its outside dimensions a bit with time

don't see it ever seating less than 2+2)

Yeah, that's better.

And on the side.....I don't know what exactly you'd do, but I wouldn't have used a mid-engine R8 as the basis for a front engined, (traditionally) long hood car. Plus there should be more rear trunk/decklid area/space, IMO.

Mustang with a Veyron blackout on the side? not for me :)

IMO mustang needs the fastback roofline, 69/70 quarter windors, and a flat rearend with vertical tribar taillamps...the 010 tapered lights give it that smiley face look, and the chamferred bumpers look out of place

the frontend looks like a mustang though

Even though I know which concept you're talking about, I dunno if I'd call it a Mustang (even a II).

Actually that was the original Mustang.

A lot of the press was upset when they didn't get the 2 passenger sports car that was sent around to college campuses and instead got a reskinned Falcon. Of course we know how that went!

But my point was to bring a Mustang to it's (true????) origins and be smaller and more economical.

Now that it's a 4 passenger, is the engine up front? Front end looks too short for that.

My thoughts exactly on the rendering.......I just don't think I can throw my support behind a Mustang chop based on an R8.

But in the sense of what Mustang has been since that concept, your rendering isn't a true Mustang. I don't think Mustang should be limited to 2 seats.....perhaps offer both a "traditional" (4-seat) Mustang and your Mustang II? Although that would sorta eliminate the need for a Thunderbird.

I was operating in a parrallel universe......as if the Mustang roadster was always the "norm" and the 4 passenger was never made LOL.

Sometimes it's good to think differently. Sometimes they are exercises in futility.......but it's all 4 fun.
