'11 duramax

this is just getting ridiculous.

 

If the automakers are going to keep making the light to medium duty diesels this large and this capable, they fricking need a smaller fleet use one. You know, for those construction companies that have 3/4 ton reg cabs and just want a diesl with 180 hp/400 tq and getting a good 18/25 mpg.

 

 

Like, oh I don't know, how about the 6 cyl diesels that have since been shelved.

I agree. Who really needs that kind of power in a class 2 or 3 truck. Class 4 or 5? OK...maybe. Class 6? Sure.

 

I'm hoping the 4.4L shows up in the F250 in a couple years as I think that would suit my needs perfectly for my next truck when it comes time to "upgrade" to a fifth wheel.

pissing contests are great, but in many cases, just too much.
