Ranchero

Nice work. A Mustang based Ranchero would have to be significantly longer to be useful. The original Rancheros Fairlane/Falcon/Fairlane/Torino/LTD II were all based on wagons and had shorter front doors than the coupe based Mustang.

Mark, I don't disagree with you often, but I do here. The Ranchero (all years) was based on a wagon chassis, but had coupe doors, like the early 2 door delivery sedan (Falcon based) it too was a wagon, but had longer doors than the 4 door wagon/sedan.

Early Rancheros (up to 65? maybe 66) had 2 door sedan doors (frames). 67 and up had 2 door Hardtop doors (frameless).

I had a 65 Baracuda that was vandalized many years ago, they broke out the back window. I called it my Barachero.
