I hope it's true Romeo, and if it is ....Congratulations.... you guys deserve it. Romeo is a great plant, with great employees, and very good middle management. I've really enjoyed working there for the past couple of months and I wish my stay there was a permanent one. Alas, for me and my fellow vagabond Millwright brethren, Romeo is just another Bus stop in our never ending search for a permanent home.

Hate to see them go and hope you all get to settle down at a plant somewhere close to home soon. Which ever plant you all wind up that plant would do well to accept any of you guys and you all have my best wishes for your futures. Hang in there

I have heard new's of it but until I get 1000% confirmation of it I'll wait to jump for joy ! I thought it was a done deal but I guess it isn't. Keep your fingures crossed !!!

With all of that construction and investment that took place here I would hope the company would invest in the workers who were a force for change in team concept at romeo. So many have already retired but they leave the legacy at the plant. innovative, educated, well trained and the willingness to perform at high levels.

Straight 6, what year is this 1976? Just trying to figure out what business plan this come in? The company don't have money to invest in product and you think they are bringing in yet another new engine. I wish it were true, but I am certain that is a huge RUMOR!

I wish Romeo all the best and hope they get all the new work they can handle.

Whenever I am in that area however, I throw up a little bit in my mouth. The roncelli trailer that has been lodged there is an insult to their trades and the UAW as well. Local 400 has trades on temp assignment elsewhere while contractors are doing their work at their own local. I see this as unacceptable.

The membership at 400 should be demanding that this work and any future work be done in house.
