RichardJensen
I still develop my own film, but I do not print it. Wet/dry process for me: develop it in chemicals and then scan the negs.
BORG
lets think more abstract. #1 Telescopes, used to have complex lenses, to magnify light coming into them, but today, we large mirrors, to focus light onto a focal point, that captures more light. mirrors work better, than lenses in this case. #2 the lamps on the focus are huge, much larger than the LS, and not much smaller than the MKx. in frontal area. The MKX has always used projectors, although the 2007-2010 had quad lamps with reflectors for the high-beams. And the lamps on the Focus are not that big, performance varies dramatically with reflectors however and that's one problem with them...you never know what you're getting, unlike projectors. RichardJensen
very cool Rich. I'd be inclined to wet process the whole thing, but you need a darkroom to process prints, you do not need a darkroom to process film. Just one of those film loading bags. aneekr
do you really? there are crappy projectors just like there are crappy reflectors. Consumer Reports has evaluated headlamp performance of every car they've tested since 2004, and the results are in complete agreement with what Biker16 said. Projector (ellipsoidal) headlamp designs have varied just as widely in performance as those using reflector optics. As with HID light sources versus halogen, the whole projector vs. reflector optics comparison really comes down to the former having a higher "coolness" factor among a small number people who visit automotive forum sites, and nothing more. BORG
2012 Electric Focus with projector headlamps. http://www.autoblog.com/photos/ces-2011-ford-focus-electric/#3756883 I think that may be one reason they left them off the non-EV versions of the Focus, to add some design distinction in the NA market. I also heard that CU thinks that the beams on the NOT projector Edge, are btter than those on your MKx. any thoughts?
smsfordman
The 2012 Focus does have projector headlights.
